I see your point.
Then we will either risk diabetes or feed the left overs to some birds.

There's a Cuban restaurant/bakery here in L.A that's called Porto's that makes some of the best cake I've ever had. I wouldn't call this cake a dream cake since it's the real deal...but have a gander and if you happen to be near L.A and not know of it, give it a try:

I'm lactose intolerant, and most if not all cakes involve milk in multitude, so I'm usually the guy at the party that has to respectfully decline a piece of cake.

That said, I would go for a cake like this...

I'm slightly allergic to peanuts, but would definitely risk it to eat a piece of that.

What's life without some risks?

Definitely! They have little single servings so you don't have to get the whole cake, but after eating a single serving you'll want to get a whole cake . It's pure awesomeness!

Woahhhh, poisonivy, if you're going to make a ''dream cake'' thread and not be providing actual cake, we're going to have some issues, bud.

They have other artsy cakes and tarts. Haven't tried them all, but I recommend this cake for sure for sure for sure.

Difficult to choose, but these are pretty awesome.

The perfect cake is the one made with love & eaten with loved ones.

That's why we take pictures and VERY SLOWLY eat it & savor them! :D
It's lame all the pre-made cakes at stores have trans fat in them because they're also pretty. I enjoy baking my own though.

lol If I tried to duplicate one of those above, I would likely fail 5-10 times...or more XD
I tend to make cookie cakes instead, apparently I don't use enough dough or don't cook long enough.
