I've never drew an anime character before so I'd like feedback on my first drawing please. Any criticism is good but please tell me what's wrong and needs to be fixed.

I'm not entirely sure about your project other than this drawing, would you share more in-depth info?

For improvement I say focus on the alignment of the features more. Difficult to examine further without colors, shading, angles etc.

This may sound rude, but everything's wrong. The drawing is not bad at all for your first time, though. And when I said everything's wrong, I meant it's not manga quality. Of course, that's not a bit surprising as it is your first time. You definitely have the potential and there's plenty of room for improvement.

Honestly, I think you just need to practice drawing anime characters for now. Make sure everything's proportionate so it doesn't look weird. Don't worry about shading and other details. Those will come as you get better. You'll eventually have your own step-by-step style of drawing. Tutorials on YouTube and deviantart will be able to help you when you get to this point. But until then, just do some free-hand drawings.

I think there are more constructive ways to give critique, but I digress...

I disagree with tlegoman, get started working on the basics of drawing. Learn proper anatomy and body proportions before trying to really get into imitating anime style. If you start by imitating anime and manga before you know the basics, your drawings will end up looking very flat.

Do lots of figure drawing and drawing from life. Take your sketchbook with you everywhere and draw people as they are in real life. Sketch people at school, in the airport, at the coffee shop. You can still have fun copying your anime characters, but the stronger your basic skills are the better you're going to be at drawing anything.
