Better than Glasslip! Glasslip was a bit bad. Nice how this is a P.A Works anime.

It's okay, but really dry subject matter. Not sure having such a huge ensemble cast is doing the series many favors.

Was OK but really in need of a program guide of each character, their picture, name and job.
A huge cast introduced in episode one to remember. I enjoyed it but so insider to the industry people are going to be confused.

I like it very much, but I felt they introduced too many characters at the start. I get overwhelmed when books, movies, whatever, do that. Trying to juggle who's who and what's what, especially when a named character gets like 30 seconds screentime, but ends up being more than filler.

Anyways, she's a helluva drifter!

Better than Glasslip but can it compete with Nagi no Asukara?

Overall I enjoyed it but I do agree, too many characters for episode one.

Ep 1

So PA Works can make a good show. When they don't try to shove supernatural elements that don't go anywhere and forced romantic drama down our throats. See, it wasn't so hard

I'm not sure about this one. Too many characters were introduced far too quickly for my liking. I can't even remember the main girl's name, and that's a bad thing. :/ I'll have to give this a couple more episodes before I decide to drop or keep this one in my queue.

I'm getting Hanasaku Iroha vibes here. This is good, very good. How many anime have adult characters like this in a workplace setting no less. Servant x Service did a pretty good job with the concept, so I'm hopeful this will be nice as well.

I have to say, that was the strongest first ep I've seen so far this season... By mid episode I was already ready for it to be next week and for the second ep to be queued up on the Roko.

I really enjoyed the first episode, I'd say it was one of the best this season for me. The beginning with the anime club was decent but I really liked the switch to the present day and I soon found myself so drawn in that the episode felt like it had gone past very quickly. I think it did a good job of keeping a cheerful and light-hearted mood while still touching on the harsher realities. I'm not expecting an entirely realistic portrayal of working in an anime studio but I think they did a decent job of balancing the fantasy and reality elements (so to speak).

I'm not sure that I learned a lot about the process of producing an animation but I may not have been paying enough attention to those aspects. I think I mostly enjoyed the character interactions but I also enjoyed the "conflict" of dealing with the delay and felt they'd made it compelling in the same way an exciting battle can be (or something like that, I'm not sure I'm explaining it well).

I'd like to believe that the driving was a vast exaggeration of what was really happening, although it might have been nice if they'd at least had one of those "don't do this at home" disclaimers (or shown that what we saw was the version of what happened as Aoi imagined it).

I did wonder why they didn't fire the annoying guy, I guess it was only one offence and maybe not entirely his fault but he seemed to have made it worse by not owning up sooner and I'm not sure we saw evidence that he did anything worthwhile at all.

I liked the character designs, I feel like I might be able to learn who each of the characters are and mostly identify them by sight (although if they change clothes it might be tougher). I'm not great with names at the best of times and there were a lot to pick up but it'll be interesting to see if I can learn some.

I quite liked the kind of "family" atmosphere at the studio, I didn't really feel that they were trying to suggest that every studio is like this so much as the one Aoi works at happens to be that way. I felt they did a decent job of having the various workers feel like they might be actual characters without really having time to go into it yet.

That said, I'm concerned about the fact that the main characters seem to be the five girls from the beginning. The first episode introduced a whole bunch of people that I want to know more about and I can't say I'm as interested in the other four girls from the intro (I suppose I should say three girls since one already works with Aoi). That could certainly change as the other girls get some real screen time but it'll be interesting to see how the characters are handled. I'll most likely be disappointed if the entire rest of the studio just end up consisting of one character trait each and never get any further development (I might still enjoy the show but it can be frustrating when something feels like a missed opportunity).

It'll be interesting to see how things go. I'm looking forward to the next episode anyway and if things go well I could see this becoming a favourite (though it's early days I guess).

Someone needs to tell P.A. Works that front-wheel-drive cars don't drift lol

I'd love to see an anime about racing where they actually do grip-driving.

Episode 1
"Don-Don-Donuts, let's go nuts!" Last season was chickens, this season is donuts huh.

That racing part was so out of place but enjoyable/fun.

So much drifting?

Alright episode I guess, not that interesting but not boring either (already better than Glasslip).

Wow, what an info-dump! Admittedly, I'm bad at remembering names, but I think anyone would struggle to keep up with all that!

Even though I couldn't name even one of the characters, I really liked it. Fast paced and left me wanting the next episode. Can't argue with that.

Episode 2

Given the tight schedule, there's no room for someone to suddenly get sick, and with Misato under the weather, things are looking bleak. And then there's a disagreement over how to portray Arupin with the director being way too picky about her characterization. But in the end, they agreed and with the tight schedule, it is time to get down to work. That's another good episode there seeing that not everybody is going to agree with the way characters are produced.
