Ofc Tsundere is winning.

You even surprised anymore lmao

Masochism. That's all i can think of to actually like a character who physically hurts and verbally abuses you.

I know right? God, i wish they would punch me in my face and call me an idiotic, worthless and perverted person.
I'm practically drooling at the thought right now.

But seriously, i finished watching Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka recently, and had to witness the creators turn a sweet and shy girl into an S-class tsundere. I pondered to myself what people can possibly see in a character like that. I studied and studied, but all i can come up with is masochism. For the most part, they aren't even remotely cute about it. I'll just stick with my cocky girls and my sweet, affectionate girls. I don't want to be abused.

Yandere, they tend to spice things up whenever I've seen one go crazy with strawberry jam.

There's examples of all of them I love and Nico doesn't cleanly fit into any of these so I can't waifu tie-break. I'm going to say all of the above, but I vote for dandere because lately characters like those below have been making me laugh the most lately with their hushed emotions and randomness.

Ohhhhhh I forgot about the personality change in that....but I can't for the life of me recall most of the plot lines.
Need me an Alpha or a deredere.

Hmm... I would have to go with Kuudere.

I like Tsundere and Yandere, but kuuderes are great. I like seemingly stoic women in real life as well.

I voted dandere but I should've said kuudere. It's like 55% kuudere 35% dandere 10% tsundere.

Rie-dere~

No, ahem...
They're all appealing in their own ways, but I'm more of a tsundere kind of person.
Nothing over the top or heavy tsun~,
but a reasonable level of pride that interferes with the emotion called love-
Working so hard to get that person to look at you only to be betrayed by your own body,
Giving it your best shot, getting embarrassed, and smiling brightly in the end.

That kind of tsundere.

I might be in the minority for this, but while I don't mind different dere characters, I prefer them not to be so. Most creators use 'dere' archetypes of ways as saying 'This character will act this way all the time and that'll be them sorted', it doesn't drive them to flesh out the character outside of maybe a flashback or being a childhood friend. Humans are complicated creatures in the sense that we don't really act one way all the time, and as such it can make characters seem a bit unconvincing. Like I say, I don't mind them, but given the choice I'd prefer a character that can't be classified due to acting one way.

True, but these are archetypes here, and characters are fictional. No mater how well you write them, we are able to categorize and label them.

I will use Asuka Souryu as an example. She is a rather heavy Tsundere type. There is a reason for this. And she is a rather tomboyish girl herself. Her character is very unsociable, and generally calls people by titles rather than names, making her feel self important.

She isn't tsun first, she's Asuka first and labeled as Tsun.

How some writers write as you describe and get away with it is unfortunate. But it happens.

Dandere or Kuudere.

I think people liking the tsun, to some extent, comes from wanting a little bit of a challenge in winning over your girl. Not every guy wants a push-over. Beyond that, it does just turn into M tendencies surely?

If we are talking Anime, then I do like me a little bit of tsun, though this is the best:

Furano Yukihira from Noucome
*swoon*

I think there is actually another "dere" for this type but anyway I guess it's some sort of Tsun/Kuudere? She's really sweet but because she's so crazy strange that doesn't come out so clearly . When she insults you she's not really being tsun, she just has some problems communicating her emotions properly

HOWEVER

If we are talking real life girls, I aint got time for no Tsun!

I like a girl who is equal parts cocky/cheeky and kind/caring.

Not a big fan of any of these but if I were to pick one, it's not on this list.

I'd go with Mayadere. Not much cracks me up more than the former villain occasionally just threatening people off-handedly because why not.
