I'm a HUGE fan of the AC games! I saw the trailer for Rouge and have mixed feelings about it. Killing Assassins? I’ll feel like I’m betraying the creed I don’t think I can handle it lol. It looks awesome from a Templar view though!

Here's the trailer:

I'm kinda worn out on Assassin's Creed right now (although Unity looks great).

Until Ubisoft makes an AC game set in either Three Kingdoms China or Sengoku Era Japan I think I'll be holding off on buying AC games.

The fact that you feel uneasy about being a Templar and killing Assassins might in actuality be a good thing. I'll be honest right here and now, I'm far more excited for Rouge, than I am for Unity. Just goes to show the power of premise, huh?

Like many I've being getting a little tired of Assassin's Creed, which let's all be honest, has been playing game-by-numbers for sometime now. I love the series and will always buy it, however I just want something different from them. For me personally, Assassin's Creed at its core is a battle between two philosophies: Control versus Freedom. However neither of these are inherently evil or good by nature; they are simply different ways of seeing the world and getting things done.

For the longest time now, the Templar order's members have been devolving into the equivalent of 1960's TV Batman villains, running off monologues whilst twirling their evil Dick Dastardly moustaches. Now whilst I will admit that the Templar order seems to call to more megalomaniacs than the Assassins, it can't be denied that these flaws are not with the notions of control and order, but rather with humans themselves.

I'd like to see this instalment go where fans fear to tread, to push the boundaries of our notions of good and evil and make us think and not just accept what is placed before us.

I'm getting AC Unity on next gen (XBONE), but if I didn't have a next gen console I would buy it

I've played all the AC games so far, got to see the demo for AC Unity at SDCC and I pre-ordered that for the xbox one.

but AC Rouge?!?! that is a new spin on the entire series! playing as a Templar looks fun, a break from the usual brotherhood shenanigans.

i'm excited for both :3

I'm not so sure about the name, tbh...... Rouge? Maybe AC: Scarlet? Or perhaps Crimson?

It's actually "rogue", not "rouge".

Call me a diehard AC fanboy, but I can't stomach killing my fellow assassin's without a just reason for doing so.

As someone who played illuminati in The secret world and played every single AC that came out, i am not sure what should i feel about this ... I like murdering templars but killing other group as a templar feel weird.
