Drink Scottish tap water then drink English tap water and you will notice that Scottish water is significantly better quality. Bottled water also has less taste - which is a good thing.

From tap water I can. My city has better tasting water, than the city that's two miles north of me. However, I tend to filter my water before I drink it anyways.

What? People don't taste any difference !?!? I thought it was pretty much a universal thing that all water does not taste the same ..? I mean, okay, regionnally talking, tap water should pretty much taste the same everywhere. Now then, with my fridge filter thingy,it tastes quite different.. And even more so with a Brita filter... Anyways, all of these I don't really mind drinking,I think they're pretty good.. Bottled water ,depends.. I'm not exactly sure what gives Aquafina that distinctive taste, and I'm not sure I wanna know, just in case it just ruins it for me..Cuz I love it ._. .... Plenty of other brands are fine too..Just don't give me the nestle, there's something I just can't stand in there...It makes me sick, like, litterally.

I'm used to distilled water so tap water tastes pretty nasty to me. Bottled water varies and I try to avoid it whenever I can. I prefer COLD water. For some reason it tastes better to me when water is cold. (And cold water burns more calories since your body has to "warm up" cold water to "process" it so it's a double bonus!)

I can't drink city water that has much Fluoride in it, I think I'm allergic to the stuff if that's even possible. I can't really tell the difference between bottled water unless it's that heavily fortified expensive stuff.

So, if you think all water tastes the same, go to Knoxville, TN and drink from a water fountain. I assure you, that unless you live in a sewage treatment plant or at the bottom of the hill in The Oblongs, that water will taste very different to you.
Pro-tip: Bring a bottle of water with you to wash the taste out of your mouth.

I used to live in Michigan and the tap water was great. Although, most of the time I drank water from a container that filters the water so I never really drank tap that much but you could drink it without worries. I live in Florida now and I don't even dare drink from the tap. Hell, I don't even give my dog water from the tap. I only drink water bottles, so does my dog.

Cold water = good.
Hot water = bad.
3-week old water = sticky and rusty.

Well, when it comes to bottled water. It really depends where the water is sourced, and the process how they filtered. For example, take a bottled water from Nestle, and compare it to Dasani. The mineral salt and fluoride content differs, hence, tastes slightly different.
