So I'll probably get made fun of for this even on an anime forum but...

Never as far as waifu but when I was a neet and had nothing better to do I became obsessed with K-On and others and it helped me get through the days

Technically one ex-waifu, one waifu and one waifu's waifu...it's complicated :P

Hmmm, I can only relate in I've watched media and thought "I wish my life were more like that" in certain aspects and have made some changes. Can't say I've ever tried to better myself for a fictional character, though. Interesting read, though. I think it's cool how "normal" you are about it. Like, you understand that it is different and kind of strange. Just stay Otaku, and don't become Tsutomu Miyazaki

The original word for what "otaku" means and what people turned it into today is amusing haha~
But I don't think there is anything wrong with you (not that you were asking).
That's pretty neat and it's really good that you found something you really like and are engrossed in.
I haven't ever felt this way, not even remotely. I agree with [sasarahsept] that I mostly relate emotionally with how the characters are written or act (Yagami Light, Kirito are two to name, mostly due to the theme of "loss").

And I see you like Mean Girls. I approve of this.

You got one of these?

Buy one of these, and your ascent into the otaku shall be complete. Personally, though, if I was you, I'd prefer girls like this:

On the plus side, they sometimes come with a loli:

Thanks, yeah I mean it's honestly how I feel, but I know it's abnormal and illogical. That second part is a bit extreme though I wouldn't ever hurt a fly I promise you and I'm not in a bad mental state anymore(unless you consider this one). I just have an affinity for cute girls in anime...can't really help it.

Nah I've never owned a Dakimakura...I don't really want a knock-off, but if they released a more official or high quality one I'd be all over it. Preferably it'd not be too lewd. Also, I can appreciate different tastes. I'm not necessarily exclusive either. Just the two girls I fell for most happened to be more on this side.

Not sure if you have a problem with the terminology or concept, but if it's the former I'm not sure of accepted conventions for this sort of thing :P. If it's the latter all I can say is...people change.
