Are you a sensitive man? Do you like sensitive men?

I am not a sensitive man. I have trouble gauging other peoples emotions, and I have trouble empathizing with them. I'm not really in touch with my own feelings either. I'd rather bury 'em deep so they can't hurt the few people I care for.

I don't afford myself much in the way of emotion, I guess I am somewhat sensitive, however if things go my way, no one knows it. I am rather stoic, my sister used to compare my expressions to Byakuya from Bleach.

Yeah, I agree. Her first boyfriend was such a whiner. Wouldn't stop sobbing after I ate his leg.

Selectively. I'm quite stoic and apathetic when it comes to my own life, but I'm pretty empathetic, so I don't like seeing people depressed or angry, and I'm a huge fan of emotionally intense fiction. I've been compared to a rock or a robot by plenty of people, but on the rare occasion I watch a poignant anime (or what have you) with somebody else, they're usually surprised by how easily I'm moved to tears. It's easier to get to the emotional core of something when that thing doesn't come with obligations or viable solutions - basically, it's a lot easier for me to feel when I don't have to act.

I changed completely when I got a girlfriend a couple years ago, and turned into an extremely sentimental and enthusiastic person when I was around her, which alarms me in retrospect, because that sort of behaviour is so far from what I've come to expect from myself. I reverted to 'normal' quickly after we broke up, though.

No, not really.. but I do enjoy drama and romance. In fiction, obviously. I don't go out of my way to create drama with people in real life.

I'm not in to sensitive men.
Just shows them that they need to man up.

Sensitive? No. Empathetic? Yes.

One of the most basic and important lessons in humanity my mum ever taught me. It's helped me greatly in life.
