Sensitive Men

I like empathetic/compassionate men. I like my men macho, or refined gentlemen (no snobs!)...But with a hidden, soft side underneath. ;D

Extremely sensitive when it comes to the things I love.
Partly sensitive towards other "Anime" things I don't love as much.
Partly emotionless when it comes to real life things.
Extremely emotionless when it comes to real people's well being.
--I guess I'm 50% sensitive in a way.

Ah, but I am usually rather dark-spirited (if that's the correct phrase, don't think it is) and have random mood-swings out of nowhere, does that count as being sensitive?

This is an interesting thing to talk about. I myself am about as emotionally cut off as a human being can get; I've had so many trial and heart breaks that I have steeled myself to no longer feel or at least give attention to anything I might feel that is purely negative. Things can make me happy and even cry, BUT, those are very rare cases.

On the flip side I can relate to almost any person and situation. I can feel both sympathetic and empathetic. I can honestly say I can gauge and understand other peoples feelings WAAAAAAAAAAAY easier than I can understand myself.

I'm plenty sensitive. Allowing anyone to get close enough to see that is a different matter altogether.

I think I am.... It depends if something or someone actually matters.

What kind of sensitive are we talking about, like sensitive to the feelings of others and what is around them or sensitive as in touchy about things directed at them? The first I can deal with, the second no way. I've known too many touchy dudes who couldn't stand getting their feathers ruffled even the slightest bit, not fun. Not fun at all.

I see a difference between being sensitive/empathetic and being a drama queen. I generally don't like the latter, even when children display it. Hell, I don't even like catching myself displaying many characteristics of drama queens. Just thinking back to my own childhood irks me. Nonetheless, given that I am a relatively cold person, a part of me wants to be involved with a guy who's significantly more willing to express his emotional range than I am with my own; however, my more logical side tells me that someone like that is likely to piss me off, should I have to deal with him on a daily basis. That said, it may work out if I was simply dating the guy. A marriage, though, probably wouldn't fair well. In the end, I'd like a man who's almost on par with me; more emotional than I, but not by much.

Sensitive.

My brother-in-law. We don't get along, though we try. He takes everything personally, even the slightest comment. Butthurt is his specialty. He's irrationally emotional, and can't control himself. Throws childish fits. And I have a very sharp tongue...

Don't want.

Empathetic and Compassionate.

My boyfriend. Even when he can't always detect my feelings straight out will put forth the effort to dig for them. Even when I try to push him away he is there, refusing to give up on me. In a sense I guess that's also a form of determination and kindness.

Do want.

No and no. Simple as that. I prefer to learn more about myself than others. Can't empathize. I wish I could....haha, nah, I got anime, after all, anime is better than real life. (, I don't believe in that statement.)

Yes to the blue, no to the red. Also to note English is a bitch sometimes.

I'm guessing it's more like levels of sensitivity, like if you have no sensitivity that's bad and if you have too much sensitivity that's bad.

I guess my level of sensitivity is 70-80%

Well, in detecting people's emotions and what not, but when it comes to being offended, very difficult, since I don't take it personally. I would put my self in your shoes tis' all.

But I am a bit of a hothead I have to admit and a sucker for inspirational and orchestrated music.

however only two big ways you can piss me off,
1. show/flaunt authority
2. Pick on me

Its okay to be emotional at times everyone gets emotional at times its a natural thing to have the feels not just girls have them. The men I like are tough so i dont want him to be sensitive to every little thing, like ugh im not that sensitive and im a girl so guys shouldnt be either but thats just my option

Make up your mind about whether or not you care about your friends.
