Chapter 1- Clockwork world
"Thief!" a voice echoed through the air as a man holding a handbag ran down an alleyway in the middle of Tokyo. Someone was watching from the edge of a nearby roof. The thief grinned as he ran around the corner, opening the bag to see three credit cards and a couple of 10000 yen notes."Jackpot," he grinned. On the wall behind him a pair of pale pink short boots reaching to her ankles with a small bow on the side and a heart shaped buckle landed on the wall. A young, cute, 157 cm tall girl with a baby face and pure white hair that was curled and split in half by two pink hair-ties in high twin tails, causing it to reach just above her waist was standing on the wall behind him. Her outfit consisted of a short black seifuku, black thigh high socks with pastel shooting stars printed on and a black cape which reached her hips and a bat winged shaped collar."Do you really want to die after doing that?" she asked in a sweet, slightly heartwarming voice. The man turned around before stumbling backwards. "W-Who are you?" he panicked. A black cat ran out from behind the bins, causing him to jump. "Me? I'm just a Shinigami," she smiled, making a 'V' sign with her left hand with one of her fingers pressing against her check before her hand moved to the left. She placed both her hands behind her back as she stepped forwards, onto the edge of the wall. A panel fell of the roof above the man. He flinched as blood rolled down his face. He fell to the side, slugging against the wall. White lights lifted out of the body, turning into a spirit. A shimmer of light formed, turning into a short black style with a pale pink crescent moon shaped print on the handle which was lightly glowing. He suddenly turned into a black butterfly which flew up into the air. "Yuki," a male voice complained from behind her. White flights flew to the side as a Japanese boy with short black hair and wearing a black suit appeared, floating over the ground. "Senpai," she beamed. He pinched her checks."Your the Shinigami Princess but do you really need to talk to them before they die?" he sighed. "There's nothing wrong with it," Yuki reminded. The clock shaped necklace around his neck glowed as the hand moved to the side. "I have to go," he commented as white lights appeared at the side. As he walked through,he disappeared. Yuki walked along the wall for a few minutes before jumping down into a different alleyway. A crescent moon shaped clip in her hair sparkled. "It's been a long day," Yuki sighed, switching on the light switch at the entrance way of a small apartment. She checked the door behind her was locked before taking of her shoes.Around the corner of the apartment door was the door leading to Kuro's room which was filled with cute plushies and racks of clothes. On the right wall of her room were my melody storage boxes which were filled with accessories and more clothes. Her bed was covered in a pink floral duvet and the window behind her bed was covered in a pink curtain. On the left side of the room was a closed white and pink laced Liz Lisa suitcase sat at one end of the room decorated with three large pink decorative bows. Somewhere at the same time, a bat flew past a clock with the light of the full moon guarding the sky. The bat flew over to a small area of black houses and leafless tree's. Black street lamps guarded the sides of the road. The bat flew into the large, black, nearby mansion, dodging around the unlit candles. The table was covered in candles and plates which were covered in dust and cobwebs. By the large window, at tee back of the room was a black coffin. Fog spilled out as the coffin doors open. In Yuki's apartment the lights suddenly turned off. "A power cut?" she guessed, standing up off her bed. Rattling sounds echoed through the air. "What's happening?" she panicked, looking around. The rest of the room grew dark as the floor under her feet disappeared. As she felt herself falling, she looked around to see that she was in the sky. Large, faint pocket-watches and red and white roses appeared around her.Her suitcase fell past her. Yuki quickly grabbed it as she jumped off the roof, onto the large clock-tower and bouncing of the side as she landed on the ground. Lit pumpkins were outside all of the doors. Cobwebs were wrapped around the door-nobs. "Where is this?" she asked, standing up. The sound of the clock-tower ticked, echoing through the air. The doors opened as numerous and odd characters danced out. A man wearing a steam-punk styled hat and waistcoat walked past, holding an un-carved pumpkin in his hand. His black eyes focused on the pumpkin. "The jack-o-lanterns are going to be even more frightening this year," he laughed as he walked past. A red clocked figure walked past. "Excuse me!" Yuki shyly cried. Everyone stopped walking as they looked over at her. The clocked figure looked up, reveling that it was a young Japanese girl with spiked black hair reaching just under her chin and was shorter at the back. Her eyes were a emerald green. CLICK. "Who are you?" a male voice demanded behind her. Yuki turned around, seeing a black gun pointing at her forehead. Standing in-front of her was a man with short dark brown hair and pale green eyes. His black military jacket blew backwards in the wind. His ears were elf-like. A black military hat was on-top of his head. "I'm Mashiro Yuki," she mumbled. "Kyo, put the gun down," the red hooded girl sighed. Kyo sighed as the gun disappeared. "What are you doing here?" the red hooded girl asked. "I don't know, the lights in my apartment turned off and next thing I knew I was falling," Yuki explained.. "I'm Luna but most people call me Red," the hooded girl introduced. "Nice to meet you," Yuki mumbled. "I take it you ave no idea where you are?" Kyo guessed. Yuki nodded. "This is Youmu, in the human world its probably known as the world of Halloween," Luna informed, pulling her hood forwards slightly. "Halloween," Yuki mumbled. Everyone in the background continued what they were doing. "Red, take her up to see him," Kyo ordered, walking of. "Follow me," Luna sighed, walking forwards. She guided her up to the large, black mansion. "I'm not happy about this," Luna complained, pushing open the door leading to the mansion. "What is this place?" Yuki mumbled. "The home of our vampire prince," Luna responded, walking inside. Every surface of the mansion was coated in dust and cobwebs. Luna guided Yuki to the room with a coffin in the back of the room. The room was in darkness which meant it was hard to see any details of the room. The smell of incense candles blanketed the air. The lid of the coffin slowly opened. A young looking Korean boy stepped out., ruffling his hand through his split dyed blonde and brown, visual kei styled hair. "Why are you in here, Red ridding hood?" he yawned. His outfit consisted of a pair of black, slightly baggy trousers with a white skull printed on the right leg and black straps hanging down from the pockets, a short sleeved black shirt with the collar up, a white pentagram was printed on the top left of the shirt, the edge of the sleeves on the shirt were white, a black studded belt, black bracelets and black canvas shoes. "Some girl fell from the sky," Luna informed, pulling Yuki out from behind her. "A shinigami?" the vampire guessed, stepping forwards. "Sorry for bothering you," Yuki nodded, looking down at the ground. The vampire lightly lifted her head up, his pumpkin golden eyes staring down into her mismatching eyes. "I need to get back to work," Luna added before leaving the room. Yuki glanced at her before looking back down at the ground. "Why would the Princess of the Shinigami be here?" he asked. "You know who I am?" Yuki mumbled, looking up. "Your blood smells really sweet compared to everyone else who's is sour. I can just tell by the smell," he explained. Yuki nodded. "Do you know if there's anyway back?" she mumbled. "On Halloween a portal will open," he remembered, picking up a wine glass filled with blood. "So i'm stuck in this world for one month?" Yuki guessed. "It's not that bad here," he responded, taking a sip of the blood. "What should I do?" Yuki cried, looking down. "I will let the Princess stay here," he added. Yuki's checks lightly blushed. "Here? At the mansion?" she blushed. "There's plenty of rooms for someone who lives alone," he responded. "Thanks," Yuki mumbled. He crouched down. "Whats with the pink suitcase?" he asked. Yuki's face blushed as she moved to the side. "It fell with me," she mumbled. "Looks like whoever brought you here wanted you to stay," he added, standing up. "Names Leiko," he introduced. "Mashiro Yuki," Yuki mumbled. "Everyone is on first names bases here," Leiko responded. The door swung open as a young Japanese boy with short black hair and pale red eyes came running up. A pair of black rabbit ears were on his head. His black jeans fitted around his slightly tall body perfectly. A faint scent of cherry's drifted of his body. "There's a problem," he added, glancing down at Yuki. He bent his knees slightly so he could look her in the eye. "Hi, I'm Hiroto," he smiled. "Yuki," she blushed, hiding behind Leiko slightly. "So he's not being mean to you," Hiroto guessed, watching Yuki nod. He smiled, patting her on the head before focusing back up at Leiko. "I'll come help you, Princess feel free to just explore," Leiko stated before following Hiroto. The streets were lined with shops selling candles, Gothic clothing, incense candles, Wiccan accessories and accessories featuring crosses and bats. Lit pumpkins decorated outside of the shops. "This place is really... Gothic," Yuki mumbled, walking down the streets. In the mansion. The walls were black and orange vertical striped. The table was covered in a red table cloth and food. Different sizes and shaped seats were around the table. "We need to discus how to create more of a fright," Kyo expressed from one of the seats. "My wolfs can help," Luna grinned, patting a baby wolf which was on her lap. "Red's plan can be a bit dangerous," a girl with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes remembered from next to Luna. She was wearing a black and orange striped witch hat, dark purple short sleeved top with a white skull printed in the middle, orange and black lace short skirt and black knee high boots. "Hey, Marisa," Luna complained. "What about the Princess?" Hiroto commented. "Princess?" a girl with short black air wearing a black cheerleaders uniform questioned. A white eye-patch covered her right eye. "Right, there has to be a reason why she's here," Kyo nodded. A girl wearing black trousers, a sort sleeved black top and a orange and black striped jacket with cat ears on the hood and longer at the back came walking up. A pair of red glasses were covering her eyes which were lined with black eyeliner and had small red blushed areas under her eyes. Her curly light brown hair reached just under her bust. A black beaded choker hung around her neck with a black 3D cross hanging down. A girl who looked similar to her, however her hair was straight and reached just past her shoulders, jumped out from behind her. She had the same makeup however wasn't wearing any glasses. Her outfit consisted of black over the knee stockings with white skeleton bones printed in the middle with a black dress with black laced sleeves reaching her elbows and a thick black cross choker. "I'm Megumi and she's Asami, my twin," the girl wearing glasses informed. Asami's cat ears twitched as she nodded. "I'm not weak-hearted like my twin," Asami announced. Yuki awkwardly nodded. "Anyway, girls have to stick together, do you want to be friends?" Megumi smiled. Yuki's checks lightly blushed as she nodded. "Okay," she blushed."It might work," Kyo sighed, scratching the side of his head. "Well its late, we should get some rest so we can have more energy for preparing tomorrow," Marisa stated, pushing her chair backwards. "Are you sure the twin cats will accept with doing the trick or treating?" Hiroto asked, watching Luna and the wolf pup walk out of the room. "Asami can be really scary at times," Kyo nodded. "I'm going home," a man covered in bandages yawned as he left the room. Once everybody had left, Hiroto looked over at Leiko. "Are you really letting her stay here?" he asked. Leiko packed away a box of jet black bells. "Whats wrong with it?" he coldly asked, not turning around to face him. "Letting someone stay isn't like you," Hiroto reminded. "There's something about her," Leiko commented. "What? That she's the shinigami princess?" Hiroto argued. "Something else, anyway you should go get some rest, Creepy rabbit," Leiko responded, picking up a playing card. "Just don't hurt her," Hiroto stated before leaving the room. "The suns going to come up soon," Leiko sighed, walking up the stairs. He stopped as he saw Yuki sitting on the steps, leaning her head against the wall."It's been a long day for the Princess," he nodded, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and under her legs, picking her up Princess style. Yuki slowly opened her eyes. The smell of pancakes drifted through the air. She was inside one of the rooms in the mansion. The walls were a pale purple. Along the back wall was a graveyard styled silhouette painted. She was on a black double bed that was resting against the back wall and was covered in a black and white striped duvet. A black dresser was opposite her. A small pumpkin was on the side, with the book next to it. On-top of the book was the crescent moon shaped clip. A variety of black, red and white makeup was laid out on the dresser. Her suitcase was leaning against the black wardrobe. A black Chandelier hung from the ceiling. The floor was covered in a black fluffy carpet. A purple bat shaped rug was at the side of the bed. A large window was on the wall with black curtains decorated in white crescent moons. She carefully slid to the edge of the bed, standing up. Leiko was sitting at the long table, drinking a glass of blood. "Morning," Yuki muffled through her hand as she walked around the corner. She was wearing pastel purple tea party shoes, black thigh high socks with pale purple bats printed on and a short black dress with long sleeves and had "The bitter end" printed in pastel purple, dripping font printed in the middle. Her hair was split in two and tied by black hear-ties just under her ears. "Did you sleep well?" Leiko wondered, taking another sip. "More or less," Yuki nodded. The sound of the clock ticked through the air. Luna was sitting on a tree branch in the nearby woods. The gentle wind was blowing her red hood backwards, showing that her outfit consists of a sort long sleeved black dress with a white peter pan collar, black lace tights and black and white converse platforms. Her wolf tail was slightly poking out from her hood. "Red!" Megumi called from the ground. "Wheres your twin?" Luna asked, looking down and tucking her tail back into her hood. Asami jumped out from behind her. "We're on trick or treat duty together this year," Asami informed. "Really?Sounds fun," Luna grinned, jumping out off the tree. "Are you sure that's nothing I can help with?" Yuki mumbled. Leiko placed two plates with pancakes covered in cream, strawberries and chocolate sauce down onto the table. "I can't make a Princess do unnecessary things," he added, sitting down and signifying for her to sit down next to him. "In the shinigami world, being a Princess doesn't mean what it does everywhere else," Yuki mumbled, sitting down. "Right, your a Shinigami who was born one, your powers are different then the others and you can live as a human," Leiko remembered. "How do you know so much about it?" Yuki wondered. "No special reason," Leiko responded, taking a bite of his pancakes. Later that day. Yuki was walking around the town again. A pair of earphones were in her ears and connected to her ipod in her pocket which was playing Kpop. She accidentally bumped into someone. "Sorry!" she panicked, slightly bowing her head slightly. Looking up, she saw Hiroto. "You must be hungry right? Lets go eat some of Youmu's special pumpkin cake," he grinned, grabbing her hand before walking off. He dragged her to a small store. A woman and man, both with short black hair, were busy working. The man was cutting up pumpkins while the woman was carving a mouth into other pumpkins. "Two slices of Pumpkin cake please," Hiroto requested. "Of course," the man nodded, doing a thumps up. Hiroto was watching her eat. "Is something wrong?" Yuki mumbled. Hiroto leaned closer to her. "Shinigami don't eat, besides the one living one," he whispered. Yuki looked up at him. "Your not going to treat me differently now, are you?" she mumbled. "Of course not," Hiroto stated, taking a bit out of Yuki's pumpkin cake slice. The clock ticking rimed through the air. "What is that clock? It doesn't ring every hour," Yuki wondered. "It rimes when ever another job for Halloween is complete," Hiroto explained, leaning backwards in his chair. "How much more do you have to get done?" she asked. "It's more like we're trying to finish extra things so more of a fright is collected," he admitted."I need to get back, I have a lot of work to sill do," Hiroto sighed, picking up his pumpkin cake slice and standing up. "Give it back," Leiko's voice demanded from a nearby alleyway. "Yes, sir," a man whinnied as he passed Leiko a fox mask. "Next time I should just kill you straight away when you take something of mine," Leiko threatened. "Please, sir," the man begged, going down onto his knees and pressing his hands against each other. Leiko placed the fox mask on the side of his head. "Leiko," Yuki mumbled from the entrance of the alleyway, causing both Leiko and the man to look over at her. "Yuki..." Leiko muffled. The man quickly ran of. Leiko turned around. "Ah," he remembered, going to run off however stopped when Yuki grabbed his sleeve. "Why were you pretending to be nice around me?" Yuki mumbled. "Pretending?" Leiko repeated. Yuki nodded, not letting go of his sleeve. Leiko pulled his arm away from Yuki, causing her to full backwards. THUD. "Didn't you wonder why Red ridding hood was in such a hurry to get out of the mansion earlier?" Leiko reminded. "But you were so nice to me," Yuki mumbled. "Being that kind to anyone, never-though a Shinigami was stressful enough," he sighed. "Why didn't you just refuse to let me stay?" she cried. Yuki flinched as he pushed her against the wall. "Didn't I tell you before?" he whispered, leaning closer to her. Yuki could feel his heartbeat as his chest pressed against her's. "Your blood smells sweet," he added, rolling his tong along her neck. Yuki quickly kicked him where it hurts, causing him to let go of her. She quickly ran off, not looking back. "Stupid girl, she's staying at my house," he sighed, feeling his fangs with his finger. Yuki stopped running as she reached the cemetery. A faint fog drifted across the ground. Silence filled the air. The only light was from the half moon in the sky which was almost covered by pumpkin shaped clouds. Tears rolled down her checks. She slid down the back of a large gravestone, leaning her head against her knees. "She didn't come back last night," Leiko sighed, opening the door to Yuki's room which was the same as the morning before."This place is too dangerous for her to be on her own," he added, closing the door. Shadows danced off the gravestones. Yuki looked up from her arms, seeing the empty cemetery. "Maybe I can just wait here for a month," she mumbled. From behind her, a pair of arms wrapped around her shoulders and mouth. All she could see was darkness. The smell of oil filtered the air. The sounds of talking echoed in the distance. "Do you think it will work?" a male voice asked. "It should work," another male voice nodded. "Guys, I think the princess is awake," another voice announced. Footsteps bounced of the floor. Someone pulled black fabric down away from Yuki's eyes before pulling the fabric away from her mouth. "Good morning, Princess," the man from earlier grinned. Yuki carefully sat up, trying to move her hands however they were tied together. "Why?" she mumbled. "Because your the Princess," a man with black hair announced in the background. "She doesn't know yet," the man in-front of her reminded. "What do you mean?" Yuki mumbled. Her wrists stung as she tried to pull away from what was tying her wrists together. "You'll find out soon," another man laughed, nodding at the man next to him who walked forwards. Yuki shuffled backwards, bumping into the wall. The other two men gripped onto her arms to stop her from running away. He crouched down, getting a Stanley knife out of his pocket. The sound of the blade going up bounced of the walls. Yuki tried to pull away however the men's grip on her increased. "That's it for today's meeting," Kyo commented, pushing his chair backwards. "Hows the new kid?" Marisa wondered. Leiko glanced over at her before looking back down at his cup of blood. "That's our Ice prince," chuckled a man wrapped in bandages. "Should I go to bed or wait up for her?" he sighed once everyone had left. He looked up at the clock before walking over to the staircase and sitting down. Leiko opened his eyes to see Yuki walking past him. A drop of blood fell down to the ground. He quickly placed one hand on her waist and the other around her wrist. "Where did you go?" he moaned, standing up. Yuki was looking down at the ground, avoiding eye contact with him. A few faint bruises covered her arms. A graze and a few cuts were on her thighs. The small cut on her left check stung as drops of blood rolled down. "Why didn't you come home straight away?" Leiko complained, moving her hair behind her ears. "I'm okay," she mumbled, walking past. Leiko rushed after her, grabbing her hand before walking towards his room. "I'm okay, I just need some sleep," she mumbled, trying to pull away. "It was my thought it happened," Leiko reminded, pushing open the door leading to his room. The walls were white with black bats painted along. Their reflections reflected of the shinny black floor which was decorated in a white, fluffy rug. At the back of the room was the bed, with a small bedside table each side. Opposite was a black wardrobe. To the left was the balcony door lined with black curtains. He signified for her to sit down on the edge of the black double bed, covered in a black and white stripped duvet and black pillows, as he got the first aid box out of the bottom of his wardrobe. Yuki looked behind her before sitting down. Leiko knelled down in-front of her. "Who was it that did this?" he asked, wiping an antiseptic wipe against the cut on her check, causing her to flinch. "I don't know," she mumbled. "Your going to be trouble to look after," he sighed, placing a plaster down over the cut. "You hate me though," Yuki remembered. "I hate everyone, when did I say I hatted you?" Leiko responded. "You were saying about how pretending to get along with people is stressful and you only care about my blood," she mumbled. He pinched her checks as he sat down on the floor in-front of her. "Your being annoying," he sighed, opening another antiseptic wipe packet. His heartbeat increased as he looked down at the blood in the corner of his eye. "It will be healthier for you if I lick the blood," he added. Yuki shuffled to the end of the bed. "I'm fine," she blushed. "Your bleeding, it's not fine," Leiko responded. "You only care because your a Vampire," she mumbled. "Well your a god of death," he responded. "That isn't my thought," Yuki pouted. Leiko moved up onto the bed. "How old are you anyway?" he wondered. "16, what about you?" Yuki mumbled, shuffling backwards. "I'm almost 22," he responded. "Big age difference," she nodded. "Are you scared?" he guessed. As she stood up off the bed, pain rushed through her, causing her to loose her balance. Leiko quickly wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her down onto the bed. "Your still in pain," he reminded, looking down into her eyes. "Sorry," Yuki mumbled, looking to the side. "The smell of your blood is really strong," he added. His tong rolled along his fangs. "Can you get off me please?" she mumbled. Leiko nodded, moving to the side. "Get some sleep, it's been a long night," he instructed. "Night," she nodded, rushing out of the room. Yuki opened her eyes to see she was inside a white room which had a small table in the middle with two chairs around it. Senpai was sitting on one of the chairs, drinking a cup of hot chocolate. "Senpai!" she smiled, stepping forwards. "I can't get to the world your in," he explained, placing two small marshmallows into the cup. "Where is this?" Yuki wondered. "A dream world, more or less," he informed. "Do you know if there's a way to get back?" she asked. "Wait till Halloween," Senpai stated, passing her a 40 cm My melody plushie. A smile popped on Yuki's face as she played with the plushies ears. "I'm surprised you lasted one night without her," Senpai sighed. "It's been a bit chaotic, I couldn't get much sleep anyway," Yuki added. "About that, what happened?" he asked, looking at the cuts on her thigh. "Three demon guys kidnapped me," she mumbled. Senpai sat forwards in his seat. "Kidnapped?" he repeated, watching Yuki nod. "Why did you even fall into Youmu?" he sighed. "Sorry for bothering you with this," Yuki mumbled. "We're friends, right?" he asked, watching her nod. "Then it isn't bothering me," he responded. Yuki opened her eyes to see the ceiling in her room at the mansion. "A dream?" she mumbled. Looking to the side, she saw the plushie. She smiled as she pulled it closer. KNOCK.KNOCK. "Yuki, are you awake?" Hiroto's voice asked from the over side of the door. "I'm awake," she muffled, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. "Leiko said you were still asleep so I was worried," he added, opening the door before going over to the edge of the bed and sitting down. "I'm fine, just tired," she yawned. "What happened?" Hiroto asked, noticing the plaster on her check. "It's a bit complicated," she mumbled. "Did HE bite you?" Hiroto panicked, leaning forwards. "It was some guys who kidnapped me from the graveyard, it doesn't matter," Yuki mumbled "Doesn't matter? Of course it does," he nodded, ruffling her hair. "You know it can be fun here," he added. "But every where is really Gothic, if you haven't noticed, I like more of the pastels," she sighed, pulling up the hood on her pastel pink pajamas which had cat ears on the top. "There is a few places you might like," he smiled, pulling her hood down. He waited outside while she got changed. He looked down at his watch before sighing. The door behind him opened. "Is this okay?" Yuki mumbled. Hiroto looked down at her long sleeved pastel pink top which had 'Cotton candy' written in the middle with three pastel cotton candy's printed in-between. The sleeves reached just past her wrists with a mint hem, A short pastel purple slightly puffy skirt, mint and pink stripped thigh high socks and pastel pink boots. "You look c-cute," he flushed. Yuki's checks turned pale red as she looked down at the ground. "Thanks," she blushed. He guided her to a small building behind the back alleyways behind the shopping area. "What is this place?" Yuki asked, looking up at the building. "It's a surprise,"he grinned, lightly pushing open the door. Inside was a white shop with shelf's filled with plushies and other cute things and railings of pastel clothes. "It's so adorable!" she smiled before rushing over to one of the railings. "I'll buy you anything you want," he added, looking down at a black cat small plushie. "Really?" Yuki beamed, watching Hiroto nod. "Thank you for today," she blushed, holding the two pale blue shopping bags in-front of her. Hiroto smiled as he patted her on the head. "I should go back to work, see you tomorrow," he waved as he ran off. Yuki smiled as carefully she walked along the edge of the path with a pair of pastel pink headphones wrapped around her neck. "Yuki," Megumi's voice smiled as her and her twin came walking up from behind her."Megumi!Asami!" Yuki smiled. "You went shopping?" Megumi guessed, noticing the bags. "Yep, with Hiroto," she nodded. Asami sighed as she crossed her arms and looked at the side. "We should go back to preparing for Halloween," Asami reminded. "Right, bye Yuki," Megumi waved, being dragged of by Asami. "Bye-bye," Yuki waved. "This should be our last meeting," Kyo informed, packing away the paper in-front of him. "Good, I still have a lot of illusions to make," Marisa added. "And I have my wolfs to train," nodded Luna, following the man wrapped in bandages out of the room. "Good work today," Hiroto greeted before taking his leave. Leiko poured some blood into a wine glass. "I couldn't help but notice that the girl is injured," Kyo added once everybody had gone. Leiko looked up from a glass of blood. "How did you know?" he asked. "I saw her running around with Hiroto earlier," Kyo explained. "It's not my problem," Leiko stated, leaning against the edge of the table. "Why are you being nice to her?" Kyo asked. "I'm not really being nice to her," Leiko expressed. "Be careful or the rabbit is going to take her away," Kyo commented. "Do you think that I'm jealous?" Leiko complained. "They did go on a date earlier," Kyo reminded. "That wasn't a date," Leiko responded, downing half the glass of blood. "Well he is guy and she is a pretty cute girl," Kyo added, patting Leiko on the shoulder before taking is leave. Yuki was sitting on her bed, taking the shopping out of the bags. The door swung open with Leiko standing in the doorway. "Hi?" Yuki mumbled, looking up at him. Leiko shut the door behind him before walking over to the bed and picking up the bags. "What did that guy buy you?" he sighed, turning the bag upside down. On the bed was a small pink bow on an alligator clip which had 'I heart you' written in mint in the middle, a pastel pink salopette decorated in pastel melting moons and shooting stars, three rilakkuma pens, Pastel pink and white stripped thigh high socks, a pink macaroon necklace with a mint bow and a pair of pink Lolita boots with pastel blue stars on the side and heart shaped buckles. "So it was a date," he nodded. "It wasn't a date," Yuki blushed. "Where did this come from?" he asked, picking up the My melody plush Senpai had given her the night before. Yuki went up on her knees as she tried to grab the plushie. "Senpai gave it to me, that's all," she cried. "So some guy gave it to you?"Leiko guessed. "He gave it to me in a dream world last night," Yuki blushed. "Dream world?" he repeated. "Please give it back," she cried. "Why? It's just some plush of a Japanese character," Leiko complained. "It's important to me," she mumbled. "This is important to you?" he sighed. "It doesn't matter why!" she blushed. A wolf howl echoed in the background, causing Yuki to jump. Leiko looked out of the window, towards the woods. "Some-things wrong," he guessed, glancing at Yuki.

Chapter 2- Skeleton parade
A loud howl echoed in the distance of the woods. "Somethings wrong," Leiko guessed, glancing at Yuki."Something wrong?" she repeated. "We'll have to go into the woods to find out," Leiko nodded. "We'll?" she repeated. "If I leave you here someone will probably kidnap you again," he expressed, placing the My melody plushie down onto the bed. "I won't be any help," she mumbled. "We should get going, change into something less cute and date like," Leiko instructed. "It wasn't a date!" she blushed. "I'm going to get changed as well," he nodded, leaving the room. "Will we need anything else?" Leiko sighed, slipping two guns into his back pocket. "Is this any better?" Yuki mumbled behind him. He turned around to see that she was wearing a zipped up fluffy light pink jacket which reached just under her hips which had a pair of bunny ears on the hood with a small black bow next to one of the ears and had pockets on the side, pastel pink and purple stripped thigh high socks, pastel pink small leg warmers and a pair of pastel pink two inch tall wedged heels that had a small bow in the middle of the front of the shoes. A pink randoseru was on her back. Her hair was carefully tied up into twin tails."Still cute but I guess it will be okay," he nodded. Yuki blankly looked at him. "Whats wrong?" Leiko asked. "You said something nice," Yuki mumbled. "I did?" Leiko wondered. "You said it was cute," she nodded. "I said you were cute not the outfit," he corrected. "Anyway lets get going," he sighed, picking up a black backpack with cat ears and a cat face printed on, off the back of the nearby chair. "Is there anything you want me to carry?" Yuki offered. "Don't worry about it," he reasured. They were walking for a few hours through the forest path. A shadow moved behind them. Luna suddenly jumped out of the tree behind them, causing Yuki to jump. "Yuki, right?" she remembered, glancing at Leiko who nodded. "What was with the howl?" Leiko asked. "I'm not sure, the wolfs say something is wrong in the middle of the woods," Luna explained. "Middle of the woods," Leiko sighed. "Are you both going to find out what's happening?" she guessed. "Something wrong with that?" Leiko moaned. "Of course not," Luna panicked, stepping backwards. "How are you surviving being around him?" she added. Yuki glanced up at Leiko who looked to the side. "I'm not sure," she mumbled. "I need to get to sleep, bye, good luck," she called as she ran off at a fast rate. Yuki glanced up, exchanging eye contact with Leiko for a second before blushing and looking down at the ground. "Let's go," he commented, continuing to walk. It seemed like they were walking for hours. As a growl echoed through the air, Leiko felt Yuki grip onto the back of his sleeve. "Scared?" he teased, turning around to look at her. Yuki nodded, looking down at the ground. He sighed as he locked his fingers with hers before walking forwards. "Don't tell anyone I held your hand," he demanded. "Okay," Yuki nodded, sounding scared. A few hours later. They had reached a small area in the middle of the woods which had a decaying wall. "It's late , we should get some sleep," he added, letting go of her hand and sliding down the wall and leaning on his feet. Yuki sighed as she looked up at the sky. Leiko carefully took a black jacket out of his bag, placing it down in-front of him, in-between his legs. Yuki pulled her hood up over her head. Leiko pulled her down onto the jacket before taking of the jacket he was wearing and wrapping it over her shoulders. He smiled as she looked behind her at him. "I'm okay over there," she mumbled. "This way I can protect you," he added, leaning his head on her shoulder. "This is embarrassing," she blushed, trying to move away. Leiko pulled her backwards, leaning her against him. "Just try to get to sleep, I'll be here to make you warm and protect you," he responded. Yuki could feel something warm wrapped around her stomach and leaning against her back. Opening her eyes, she noticed that Leiko was pressing up against her and had his arms wrapped around her stomach. She tried to move however his mass was too heavy. "He's actually really cute," she mumbled, looking up at his sleeping head which was leaning on her shoulder. "Am I too heavy?" he muffled through her shoulder. Yuki's face turned red. "Did you hear what I said?" she blushed, moving to the side. Leiko opened his eyes, looking down at her. "Maybe," he yawned, noticing how red her face was. "Your embarrassed face is really cute," he snickered. Yuki used her hood to hide her face. "How long were we asleep?" she mumbled. Leiko stretched as he looked down at the black watch around his wrist. "You've been asleep for four hours," he informed. "What about you?" she mumbled. "About two and a half," he yawned. "You should get more sleep," Yuki mumbled. "I was going to say that to you," Leiko responded, laying his legs out flat. "Your nicer when your half asleep," Yuki admitted. Leiko leaned forwards, pinching her checks. "Get some sleep, do you want to use my lap?" he commented. "Your lap?" she blushed. He nodded as he moved strands of her hair behind her ears. "I'm okay over there," she blushed. "Aren't you comfy in-between my legs?" he wondered. Yuki's checks turned red. "It's the middle of the morning anyway, go to sleep," Leiko sighed, leaning backwards and pulling Yuki backwards. A few hours later they had woken up and continued walking for a few hours. "Do you want me to carry you?" he offered. "I'm okay," she mumbled. Yuki's stomach rumbled. Leiko stopped walking, causing her to bump into his back."Lets stop to eat," he sighed. "Are you hungry?" Yuki mumbled. "You are, that's all that matters," he expressed. They sat down by the side of a tree. Leiko placed his jacket down on the ground so Yuki could sit on it. "You sit on it!" she blushed. Leiko sat down on the jacket, pulling Yuki down onto his lap. "You didn't want to sit on the jacket," he reminded. "This is worse!" she blushed. "I won't hurt you," he added, pulling out a few bento boxes out of his bag. Inside them were fruit slices, cucumber slices, rice balls resembling pandas, mini hot-dogs, Tempura, Yakiniku and Pasta. "I knew you would end up getting hungry," he explained. "Why does everyone hate you?" Yuki mumbled, looking down at the ground. "I'm the cold hearted vampire prince, I don't like anyone and anyone hates me," Leiko responded, popping a piece of pasta in his mouth. "I don' t hate you, yet," Yuki mumbled. Leiko glanced at her. "Here, try it," he added, holding out a small piece of a dark purple fruit towards Yuki. Her checks lightly blushed as she took a bite. "Its sweet," she nodded. "It's a fruit that can only be found in Youmu," he explained, taking a bite before holding it back towards Yuki. "It's like your blood to me," he admitted. "Back to about my blood," Yuki sighed, picking up a slice of cucumber. "Your blood smells sweet, like this fruit. While everyone's else's smells more like a lemon," Leiko explained. "You only care about my blood," Yuki sighed. "If I did, I would of drank your blood earlier," he reminded, taking a bite out of a rice ball. "Sorry," Yuki mumbled, looking down. "Why are you apologizing?" he asked, looking down into her eyes. Yuki looked down at the ground. "For asking why everyone hates you," she mumbled. "It's okay, we should eat and then head out," he advised. A few hours later. "Stay here, I'm going to get a better view," Leiko announced before jumping halfway up the cliff next to them. He glanced down at Yuki before jumping to the top of the cliff. "I should of worn different shoes," Yuki sighed, un-clipping the buckles on her shoes for a minute before putting her feat back into her shoes. "Hey, Princess! I found something," Leiko called from the top of the nearby cliff. Yuki jumped up onto a nearby tree branch before jumping onto the top of the cliff. "So your not useless," he added. Yuki lightly hit his arm. "So what did you find?" she asked. Leiko turned her around to face the edge of the cliff. In the distance was a small cottage. "A cottage in the middle of the woods?" she guessed, looking up at Leiko. "We might find the answers there," he smiled. "How long will it take us to get there?" she mumbled. "About three days," he informed. "Three days?" she repeated. "We should get going," he nodded, jumping down to the bottom of the cliff. Yuki sighed as she jumped onto the tree branch and then onto the ground. Seven hours had passed. "Its getting late," Leiko sighed, looking up at the sky what was growing dark. "Do we have to stop walking?" Yuki asked. "It might be best to get our strength back for tomorrow," he nodded. "We should find somewhere to sleep," Leiko added. They were walking for another hour to find somewhere to sleep. Leiko laid two jackets down on the ground. "Lie down and get some sleep," he added, leaning against the tree. "You should lie down instead," Yuki blushed. "Just get some sleep," he sighed. Yuki nodded as she sat down on the jackets. "Thank you," she blushed, slipping her shoes off. Shortly after Leiko fell asleep leaning against the tree. "He can't be comfy," Yuki mumbled, turning around to face him. She sat up, picking up one of the jackets and placing it next to Leiko. Yuki carefully moved him down so his head was leaning on the jacket. She placed the other jacket under his legs. Leiko turned around in his sleep. Yuki leaned against another tree and closed her eyes. Leiko turned around. He slowly opened his eyes to see that he was leaning on the jackets. He used his arms to sit up. Looking to the side, he saw Yuki fast asleep."Stupid girl," Leiko sighed, wrapping his arms around her and picking her up Princess style. He carefully placed her on the jackets before laying down next to her. "If you were going to do this we might as well slept next to each other," he added, moving the hair away from her eyes. After waking up early they ate before continuing to walk. A small cottage covered in ivory stood in-front of them. Yuki loudly knocked on the front door. Silence filtered the air. "Excuse me, is anyone inside?" Leiko called out. "Come inside deary," an old voice creaked. Yuki and Leiko exchanged glances before opening the door in-unison. Inside was a dusty room with a large bed at the back. "What brings you out here this close to Halloween?" the old voice called from under the duvet on the bed. "The wolf howl," Leiko stated. The door behind them swung shut, causing Yuki to flinch and step closer to Leiko. Shadows spilled out from the bed. Yuki stepped backwards. Leiko quickly pushed her behind him. The shadows morphed into a tall man with short black hair and blue eyes. "Who are you?" Leiko demanded. "The shadows," it creaked. "Shadows?" Yuki repeated. It bursted out laughing as chains shot out from behind them, zooming towards Yuki who barely dodged out of the way. Chains wrapped around her leg, pulling her down to the ground. THUD. "Princess!" Leiko panicked, turning around. Chains shot towards her, going through her arm which caused her to flinch. The chains suddenly pulled out, causing blood to pour out. Yuki flinched as she wrapped her hand around the cut. Leiko quickly covered his nose with his hand as his heartbeat increased. He quickly pulled the guns out from behind him, aiming towards the man. "Princess," the man grinned as chains shot towards Yuki. The chains shot past her arm, causing a scratch to form. Sparkling stars suddenly appeared in the air around her. The stars lifted up with pink sparkles flying of and bursting as the sparkles touched the ground. Chains shot towards her, going through left thigh. Blood dropped down onto the floor. Leiko aimed both of the guns at the man. BANG. The man turned into a black rose which burnt away to ash.The chains suddenly disappeared. Yuki felt weak, causing her to full forwards, being caught by Leiko. "Are you okay?" Leiko asked, looking down at her. "I think so," she mumbled. He wrapped his arms around her, picking her up Princess style and carrying her over to the bed. "We can stay here tonight," he commented, placing her down onto the bed. "Sorry for bothering you again," Yuki mumbled. Leiko sighed as he ruffled her hair. "Your bleeding a lot," he added, lightly grabbing her arm and looking at the cut. "Sorry about the blood," Yuki mumbled, looking down. Leiko leaned forwards, licking a drop of blood which rolled down her arm. Her checks turned red as he continued to lick the blood. "I won't bite, only lick," he added, licking another drop. "It even tastes sweet," he smiled, feeling her warm blood on his tong. His grip on her increased. "Can you please stop?" she mumbled. He glanced up at her before nodding. He wiped the blood away from his mouth before standing up. "We still didn't find anything out," he sighed, opening one of the cupboards. "What should we do?" Yuki asked. "Go home I guess, I'll get red's wolfs to show Kyo the problem or something," he guessed. "We should get some sleep," Leiko sighed. Yuki got the My melody plushie out of her bag while his back was turned and hid it under the duvet behind her. Leiko switched of the light before heading towards the bed. Darkness had covered the room as Leiko sat down on the edge of the bed. "Sorry that I let you get hurt," he added. "It's okay," Yuki mumbled. As he laid down, Yuki moved backwards. Although it was dark, Yuki could feel him placing his hands on the wall either side of her. "Leiko?" she blushed. "About when you were kidnapped..." he started, gently poking her check, just under the cut, "How did you escape?" he asked. "I used my powers to distract them an took the Stanley knife they were using and used it to cut the fabric around my wrist before running of," she explained, looking down. "That must of been scary to go through that," Leiko guessed. He felt her lightly nodding. Leiko lightly placed his hand on her head. "Get some sleep, its going to be a long day tomorrow," he expressed before turning around. "Thank you," she mumbled. Leiko smiled as he ruffled her hair for a few seconds before turning back around. "Ready to go?" Leiko asked, slipping the guns back into his back pockets the next morning. "Okay," Yuki nodded, quickly putting her shoes back on. It seemed like hours since they had left the cottage in the middle of the woods. A wolf howl echoed through the air. "The howl isn't that far, we could walk there," Leiko added. "We're going to the wolf?" Yuki mumbled. "What's wrong, scared?" Leiko guessed. "Just worried," she responded. A large cave was on one side of the woods. A large white wolf stood in-front of them. Yuki slightly moved behind Leiko, causing him to glance around at her. "My name is Moro," the wolf informed. "I'm sorry to bother you Moro but I need to ask you a few questions," Leiko stated. "About the problem?" Moro guessed, glancing at Yuki who was still hiding slightly behind Leiko. "There is... an organisation that's taken a liking to the princess," Moro started. "Why me?" Yuki mumbled. "That, I do not know," Moro informed. "Is it to do with why she's here?" Leiko guessed. "I believe so," Moro nodded. Two white wolf cubs walked over to Moro, laying down next to her. "Strange things will likely start to happen but there is a reason for everything," Moro stated. "Did you want us to know this?" Leiko guessed. "Clever Vampire Prince, I knew the howls would attract you," Moro responded. "Thank you," Leiko thanked.Shortly after they started to walk back to the mansion. "Why me though?" Yuki sighed. Leiko glanced around her. "Be-careful," Leiko commented. They were in silence till they reached the town. The clock chimed through the air. A group of four skeletons danced past, humming a song. Two skeletons danced behind them, holding pirate like black flags.Four other skeletons were on the outside, holding lit torches. At the back of them was a group of skeletons playing music such as drums. "Another job is finished," Leiko smiled. Someone was watching them from around the corner. A grin formed on their face.

Chapter 3- The Ice prince
The clock chimed as the date changed to 15th October. "Okay guys, we only have 16 days left," Marisa called out. "Lets go," Megumi nodded, glancing at Luna. Yuki was sitting around the corner from the shops, looking up at the sky. A shadow blocked the light. "Megumi's busy, but do you want to hang out?" Asami offered from in-front of her. She was wearing black over the knee stockings with white skeleton bones printed in the middle with a black dress with black laced sleeves reaching her elbows and her cross choker. "Don't you have a lot of jobs to do?" Yuki guessed, standing up. "We only have one more," Asami stated. "Anything I can help with?" Yuki offered. "Not really, lets go get ice cream," Asami responded, walking off and followed by Yuki. "It smells really good," Yuki smiled as she was passed a strawberry ice-cream. Asami nodded as a Mint ice cream was passed to her. They sat on the edge of the fountain while eating the rest of the cold treat in there hands. Asami slipped a black cat necklace out of her pocket. She could remember the day that her and Megumi had got them. They had been walking down the streets of Akihabara on their day off. At that time they were both ten. Megumi's outfit had consisted of a simple strapped pastel blue dress with white lace along the hem and a white vest-top underneath while Asami's had consisted of a simple red short sleeved dress. "Onee-chan," Megumi called, stopping outside a shop. "Megumi? What's wrong?" Asami panicked, turning around. Megumi smiled as she pointed to two matching black cat necklaces hanging on a rack outside of the shop. That had also been the day before Megumi's condition had been staged more critical. A small white cat stepped over to them, brushing its head against their legs. "So cute!" Yuki smiled, crouching down next to the cat and stroking her. "Is that what Megumi see's in you?" Asami asked. Yuki's face blushed as she looked up at her. "What do you mean?" she mumbled. "Megumi is shy, she barely talks to anyone but she does to you. " she explained. "I need to go," Asami complained, sounding annoyed as she stormed off. Leiko was sitting at the table, drinking a glass of blood. "Have you seen the My melody plushie?" Yuki asked, walking around the corner. "The weird white and pink one?" he guessed, watching her nod. He picked something off the chair next to him, holding it up. "You took my plushie?" she cried. "I wanted to know if you would notice it missing," Leiko explained, passing it back to her. The next day. "Asami!" Yuki called as she spotted Asami walking past. "What's wrong?" she asked. "Whatever," Asami sighed, walking of. "Why do you hate me?" Yuki cried, causing Asami to stop walking. "I don't trust anyone but my twin," Asami stated, not turning around. "Asami," Yuki mumbled. Asami quickly turned around. "What?" she moaned. Yuki quickly leaned forwards, wrapping her arms around Asami's shoulders. Asami's checks slightly blushed. "I'm sorry," Yuki mumbled. A bell rang through the air. Yuki was suddenly in the room where she had dreamed of. Senpai was stood in-front of her, a serious look was on his face. "Senpai..." Yuki mumbled. "You want to see her and her twin's story, don't you?" Senpai guessed. "How did you know?" Yuki asked. "I can somehow look into that world through the mirror but can't get in," Senpai explained. "Sorry," Yuki mumbled. Senpai sighed as he patted her on the head. "The twins death was recorded in the soul society, i found them for you," Senpai informed. "Really?" Yuki asked. "Just walk through the mirror," Senpai stated as the mirror turned black. "Thank you," Yuki smiled before walking through the mirror. Yuki opened her eyes to see that she was standing in a small, white hospital room. A little girl with light brown hair reaching just past her chin opened the door. Her simple short white summer dress drifted backwards in the draft caused by the door closing. A blue violin case was in one hand and a shopping bag was in her other. Sitting in the hospital bed was a girl who looked similar however was wearing a pair of red glasses. "Asami," the girl in the bed smiled, looking up from her book. "Hi, are you felling any better?" Asami had asked, closing the door and sitting down on the chair next to the bed. "The doctors say that I'm getting better," the girl in bed remembered. "Megumi, I have the next issue," Asami had sighed, placing a small shopping bag on the bed. Megumi carefully took out the Doraemon manga volume out of the bag. "I can always trust on my Onne-chan," Megumi smiled as she opened the volume. "How was practice?" Megumi offered. "It's going well, I might get to have a violin performance," Asami responded. Megumi smiled as she lifted up her necklace which had a black cat charm at the end. Asami lifted up a matching necklace that was around her neck. "We'll be best friends forever," Megumi smiled. "No matter what," Asami nodded. Three weeks after that. A male doctor was stood outside a hospital room, talking to a young couple which had the younger Asami standing behind them. "I'm sorry, she's gotten worse," the doctor stated. "Is there anyway to help?" the dad asked. "Unless a match for a heart donation comes in within the next three weeks, I'm sorry," the doctor responded. "What about me?" Asami asked. They all looked down at her. "But sweetie, only a dead person could donate," the mum replied. "It would save Megumi though," Asami had reminded. Two weeks later Asami's class had a school trip. She had not wanted to go however the gift shop at the zoo they were visiting had a toy panda she had wanted to get for her sister. On the way back. The coach was filled with laughing and talking. Asami was sitting on the back row on her own, smiling at the panda toy in her hand. The driver had suddenly swayed to the side, causing the people in the coach to scream. The coach skidded to the side, tipping upside down. The teachers carefully helped all the students get out. "Is everyone okay?" one of the teachers had asked. "Kamoru-chan!" a little girl with short black hair shouted as Asami headed towards the door. "I need to get the panda for Megumi!" Asami cried as she climbed back into the bus. "Kamoru-san!" one of the teachers had added, going to chase after her however an explosion filled the air as flames lifted out of the coach. At the hospital. "Onee-chan is here?" Megumi asked, sitting up in her bed. "There was an accident," her mum had nodded. Megumi quickly climbed out of bed, running out of the room. "Megumi-chan!" her mum shouted. Somewhere else in the hospital was Asami, hooked up to a machine showing her heartbeat. "Onee-chan?" she cried, seeing her sister asleep. "Megumi..." Asami mumbled, opening her eyes. "Your alive," Megumi sighed in relief. "Remember?" Asami reminded, lifting up her necklace. "We'll be together forever!" Megumi cried, gripping onto her hand. The machine to the side started beeping. Megumi felt a pain rushing through her as her grip increased. "We're both going to die, aren't we?" she cried. "At least we'll be together," Asami weakly reminded. Megumi's legs felt weak as she went down on her knees. Her eyes grew heavy. The machine started to beep every other minute. The twins gripped onto each other as their eyes had closed and the machine had a straight line. "Code blue" loudly played on the speaker however never had moved. Their hearts had stopped working at the same time. They had opened their eyes to darkness, both gripping onto each other. Light spilled onto them as a coffin lid had opened above them. As they both sat up, there appearance had changed to their current appearance. Yuki suddenly fell forwards, landing on the ground. "You suddenly disappeared," Asami added from in-front of her. Yuki looked up at her. Tears rolled down her checks. "Hey, what's wrong?" Asami asked. "I saw it you and Megumi," Yuki mumbled, looking down at the ground. "What do you mean?" Asami wondered. "At the hospital," Yuki cried. Asami nodded as she helped her stand up. "If I like anyone again it would just end in heart ache," Asami admitted. "I'm sorry," Yuki cried. "It's okay, so do you want to be friends?" Asami offered, watching Yuki nod. The clock chimed through the air."What's with the crying look?" Leiko pondered, not looking up from his glass of blood. He could tell that Yuki was standing behind him but as always, his interest was not strong enough to look behind him. "Senpai showed me how Asami and Megumi died," she mumbled. "You talk about him a lot, are you in love with him?" Leiko guessed. Yuki's checks turned red. "He's just the only person who would talk to me, even if he was only doing it because I'm the princess," She explained. "Died huh, so that's how they came cat spirits," he commented, taking another sip of the blood. "I'm going up stairs, bye," she waved, turning around. "Wait!" Leiko's voice echoed through the air which caused her to stop walking. "Your the Shinigami Princess, right?" he asked. Yuki nodded, not turning around. "Why does everyone want to kill you?" he continued. "I don't know," she mumbled. Leiko quickly stood up. Blood splashed on the ground as shards of the glass covered the floor. Yuki's wrists slightly ached as Leiko was pushing her against the wall. He looked down into her eyes. "Why are you here?" he coldly demanded. "I don't know," Yuki shyly mumbled, looking down at the ground. "Are you saying you really have no idea why your so important to be here?" Leiko complained. "I'm not important," she mumbled. Leiko's grip on her increased, which caused her to look up at him. Frost started to cover the wall and floor around them. "Please can you let go of me?" she mumbled, looking down at the ground. "Was it Hyde who brought you here?" he continued, increasing his grip on her. "I don't know who Hyde is," she mumbled. As Leiko leaned his head closer, the faint smell of strawberry's grew stronger. "Your scent is intoxicating," he whispered into her ear. "Leiko...?" Yuki mumbled. He gently licked the side of her neck as his heartbeat increased Leiko opened his mouth, revealing his fangs. His grip on her increased as he leaned closer. Pain rushed through her neck. A few drops of her warm blood dripped down her neck. Her body grew weaker as she stopped trying to pull away from him. Tears started to form in the corner of her eyes. "Leiko," she quietly mumbled as her legs gave out, causing her to full to her knees. A few Cherry blossom petals started to full from the ceiling, landing around them. Pink beams of light appeared around them, moving as faint white star shaped glows appeared. A pale pink crescent moon shaped beam zoomed out, causing a larger beam of light to send out which attracted the attention of everyone in the Halloween world who all looked up at the mansion. Leiko pulled his fangs out of her neck before looking down at her and noticing that she was unconscious. "I must of drank to much," he observed, wiping the blood away from his lips. The front door banged open as Hiroto came running around the corner. "Yuki!" he panicked, rushing over to her. He carefully picked her up, leaning against him. "What did you do to her?" he moaned. "I'm a Vampire and the Princesses blood is sweet, problem with that?" Leiko defended. "You didn't have to drink that much! Her powers were starting to activate," Hiroto expressed, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and under her legs, picking her up Princess style. "Where are you taking her?" Leiko moaned, rushing around the corner to chase after Hiroto who was heading towards the front door. "I can't leave her here with you, I'm taking her there," Hiroto explained, opening the front door. "It's been just over 20 hours," Marisa expressed, looking up at the mansion from the centre of the town. "Right, a light hasn't even came on never though him coming out," Megumi nodded. "I hope Yuki is okay," Asami added, remembering the day before when Hiroto passed them carrying an unconscious Yuki. "I don't even know if I need to find more blood for you," Hiroto sighed, sitting at the edge of a double bed with a black frame which had Yuki sleeping on, wrapped in a black duvet with a giant playing card printed in the middle. A damp flannel was on her forehead. "You have 15 days till you can go home, you can't die yet," he added, kissing her check before standing up. Yuki slowly opened her eyes to see a white ceiling. Fairy lights hung from the walls. Giant Playing cards were printed into the black floorboards. A door opened with Hiroto standing there. "Your finally awake," he smiled. "What happened?" Yuki asked, using her arms to sit up. "Leiko almost drank all your blood," Hiroto explained, sitting down on the edge of the bed. "Where is this?" she mumbled. "Apparently its a room for the Halloween Princess," he informed. "Halloween Princess?" Yuki repeated. "An old myth that one day the Halloween world will get a unique Princess," Hiroto remembered. "It's a weird myth," Yuki mumbled. "Anyway you should stay here, no one is using it anyway and not like its safe for you with the Ice Prince," he responded. "Ice prince?" Yuki repeated. "Just his nickname," Hiroto explained. A wolf howl echoed in the distance."Oh right, all your clothes are at his," he remembered. "I should go get them," Yuki nodded. "You can't after what he did, I'm surprised you lasted that long," Hiroto confessed. "How did the rabbit know she was in trouble?" Leiko added, sitting down at the table, holding up the My Melody plushie. "Is she going to be okay without this?" he sighed, placing it down onto the table. The next day "Yuki!" Asami smiled, leaping forwards and wrapping her arms around her. "Never thought I would see you like that," Megumi added. Asami nodded, moving her arms away from her. "It's good you've made a friend," Megumi confessed. Asami's checks lightly blushed. "What ever, it's not like I wanted one," she responded with her arms crossed which caused Megumi and Yuki to giggle. The next day when Hiroto went out to do more work, Yuki carefully went up to the mansion to get her things. KNOCK.KNOCK. After no response, Kuro took a deep breath before opening the door. Leiko popped out from behind the door, causing her to jump. Yuki stepped backwards, covering her neck with her hand. "You think I'm going to bite you again?" he guessed, watching her nod. "I'm only here to get my clothes and stuff," Yuki mumbled, looking down. "They're up in your room," he responded. "Thanks," she mumbled, slightly bowing her head before going up to get her suitcase. Leiko grinned, pouring some blood into a glass in the dining room. "Where's my plushie?" Yuki mumbled from behind him. Leiko smiled, holding up the My Melody plushie. As Yuki stepped forwards, he held it up in the air. "If you tell me why it's important to you, I will give it back," he commented. "Why are you being mean?" Yuki pouted. "Because I'm the Ice Prince," he responded, climbing up onto a chair. "Senpai was the only person who was nice to me, I grew up on my own in a traditional Japanese village. There was no shrine maidens just one person who looked after the shrine. He was only a few years older then me however he worked really hard in school and was kind while I was just quite and shy. Youkai want me dead so I'm always getting into trouble. He saved me one day when a mountain Youkai was trying to kill me. A couple of months later it was a birthday so he got me a My Melody plushie. It was the first gift I got," she mumbled. "It doesn't sound that important," Leiko expressed. "It's cute, that's all that matters," Yuki cried, looking up at him. Leiko sighed before throwing the plushie at her. "Just get out of here before I bite you again," Leiko complained, walking away. Yuki started to quietly sing a song she had once heard in an anime. Someone from behind her suddenly grabbed her arm, pulling her into the alleyway. Before she could respond, they wrapped their hand around her mouth. She quickly stepped on there foot, causing them to let go of her. She quickly moved forwards before turning around. "Who are you?" she panicked, stepping backwards. "Princess," he grinned, stepping forwards.
