Shinmai Maou no Testament

Basara Toujo has a lot to adjust to. He is in a new house, in a new town, with a new family. His dad got remarried, but there is no bride in sight, and he now has two new step sisters that he has to watch out for, but before he can even start to get used to his new life the situation keeps changing. His dad leaves on a business trip leaving him in the house alone with two girls he hardly knows, who then inform him that they are actually the Demon Lord and her servant. It would all be too much too handle for any ordinary boy, but Basara is far from ordinary.

I just saw that this was getting an anime. It's been guilty pleasure of mine since it first came out, so I decided to make a discussion thread for it. Nothing in this manga is going to be anything you haven't seen before, but the story is decent and there is some pretty good action to go along with the fan service. In fact, after the first few chapters, the fan service diminishes quickly. From there on the real plot and not "PLOT" takes center stage.

Been reading this. So far I feel like Basara is underpowered, maybe because the manga isn't too far compared to the LN. I can't wait for the anime adaptation next year

Definitely less obtusely sexist than the authors other work, Hagure, which was just Pokémon with girls; gotta bag em all! Still makes me feel very uneasy though.
