I started my senior year on August 4 in a new school. I was nervous but then I thought about it, "it's my senior year, in 9 months and 3 weeks, I will graduate and be done." First 3 days I was doing excellent. Now I'm slacking off

Well I was an idiot right after high school and decided to party instead of go to class. Now that I've gotten all of the stupid out I'm going back to start working towards getting my degree in the fall. I feel basically every emotion out there about going back since it has been so long lol.

I'm really anxious because I'm going to be starting a slow-transition college program. Back in September, I ended up leaving my public high school (I was in tenth grade) and going to a virtual academy where I could take all of my classes online because my anxiety was extremely bad. I breezed through everything and was recommended to join the college program and get my associates degree before I turn 18.

I couldn't turn down the offer in fear of disappointing my family, so now I officially start my classes on the 25th of this month. I'm really nervous because this is my first time learning from a teacher that's not on a computer screen in a long time. I mean, what if I can't learn as well as I used to? What if I can't make any friends? I guess I can just hope for the best. :c

I did that exact same thing when I was your age, the get an associates while in high school bit. To be honest, it was pretty boring being the youngest person in every class. At the college I went to everybody was in their late 20s, had a job, and was really career focused. So, it was kinda hard to relate to them. Also, if your program is anything like what I did, DON'T TELL THEM THE SCHOOL PAYS FOR YOUR TUITION AND BOOKS. Oh man, everybody resented me for that haha. Like they didn't treat me that much different, but they were still had that air of, "Eff this kid and his free shit..."
You'll be fine, though . People aren't weird and cliquey in higher ed (in my experience), and if you end up wanting to be a quiet recluse in the corner of the class no one will bother you. For me, social stuff is way less of an aspect in college than it is in high school. That is if you want it to be.

Oh wow, it's nice to meet someone who has done the same thing! According to the lady who spoke with me during my interview, I'm going to be around kids my age... At least in the orientation bit. I highly doubt they'll choose the same classes as me.

I wasn't planning on telling anyone about my "get out of paying for school" card anyways. It's not really something you'd want to talk about around people who didn't have the same opportunity as you. And that's good to hear! I'd rather just go through my days going to and from school without having to mingle with other people too much, since I'm a whole lot calmer at home than I am in public.

Sorta excited and sad at the same time. This summer went by so fast I can't believe that I'm gonna be a sophomore. I basically took this summer to focus on myself for a while and I had to do an online class for an algebra credit -.-. I haven't even bought school supplies

I'll be starting my last semester of uni and i'll be student teaching. I'm nervous about not knowing who i'll be working with and what not, but I think i'm just glad i'll be in the classroom as a teacher figure rather than a student haha.

I started Year 10 last week.

And on the first day of school, my shirt was on backwards. The whole day.

But yeah, I don't particularly like the whole "school" scene, so.

Concluding my second year of college. Not looking forward to the soul crushing isolation and the feeling of a guillotine over my neck from assignments and mathematics.

Going to be a junior (11th grade) in high school. Worried about AP Calc and AP Lit homework, but having an art class as an elective can take my mind off things. I don't mind going back to school, it's inevitable, but what I am disappointed about is the procrastinating over the summer and not getting to do any of the things I said I would accomplish.
