Well, it definitely sucks to have to do homework again when you go back to school. I just finished my third year of university, and going to my fourth year in the winter.

I took IB courses and an AP course back in high school, and damn, I was busier than my first year of university. If you're doing IB or AP now, then you'll be really ready for post-secondary school. If you like procrastinating, you have about 3 weeks left to do so safely

Well, I don't have to go to school anymore, but the thought of going to college sickens me. I know it's different than high school and all, but still.

I started Year 10 last week.

And on the first day of school, my shirt was on backwards. The whole day.

But yeah, I don't particularly like the whole "school" scene, so.

You're 100 years old and starting year 10. What, are you Edward Cullen?

Im going back to college in about two weeks for my 2nd year and I'm pretty ambivalent about it. It's pretty nice because I'm living in a nicer apartment this year - the freshman dorms that i was in last year were pretty fucking shitty. While being at school itself is fun I'm really not looking forward to those long ass assignments, some of them are pretty fun/insightful, but others are just a complete waste of time. Also the whole idea of if you don't go to college then you're fucked for life is complete bullshit and i hate when teachers, parents, and counselors say that shit. Yeah, i learned some things going to college, but if i really wanted to i could have learned everything i learned at school by myself for FREE and I'm sure it would have taken less time too. But, I understand how important a degree is to some companies that hire and I also know how much bullshit a degree really is. Also some of those professors may know what they're talking about, but goddam do they not know how to teach, the TAs would have been way more helpful if they spoke english; i ended up reading the textbook instead of going to lectures for my first two semesters of math.

Going back on the 21st. It's my senior year, and I'm actually a mix of excited, and dread. But it's only one more year. A lot of my friends dropped out to go to alternative school, though, so it's going to be kinda lame. But honestly, I'm also kinda relieved because that means less unnecessary drama.

If she starts sparkling in sunlight we'd all better start carrying wreaths of garlic around.

I've finished schooling years ago, obviously. So all I get to look forward to are the loan statements I'll be getting in the mail for the next few hundred years. Ah well, at least the interest's tax deductible. I found I enjoyed holidays/vacations a lot more prior to college. When I had to start paying to go to school I began to see it as them giving me less bang for my buck.
