I cannot see how to navigate to a different episode for a series in my queue.

But personally I feel ambivalent. I don't personally care at all about having HD, and the only thing I don't like about the current Roku experience is how long it "hangs" after an episode has finished playing.

I feel like in the upgrade I'm going to lose more things that I like, than gain features I will like. :(

(But I'll report back later after I've been forced into the upgrade). Maaaybe it won't be so bad. Or maybe I'll be glad that I have an AppleTV (even though I don't really like their interface, which is why I still use the Roku for CR usually.

That's how I feel. But then again I'm in a super minority here as someone who has always been pretty happy with the old app. The queue is really bothering me right now and I already miss the thumbnails, and it took me longer than I care to admit to figure out that I needed to use the play button to navigate to the menu.. Sad to say this UI feels even less intuitive than Funimations app.

Thanks for updating the app on Roku. I like this version better, now I see the new shows I have to watch in my queue. This app is exactly the same one that is on Samsung Smart TVs. I haven't seen any problems yet.


Update: I actually found a bug. How do you added a series to your queue. None of the buttons on my Roku 3 remote seem to allow me to do that. I can navigate around find and watch videos fine.

Update 2: I rebooted my Roku and I'm seeing the same thing, I think the button with a "*" might of been the button that would allow that or the "A" or "B" button.

Update 3: Read the help file and the start or "*" definitely is not behaving like the help describes. The only thing the star button for me is bring up the Video Overlay. It's not bring up series info or the series information. The Okay button is only selecting videos, I'm guessing that is all it's suppose to do.

Also I notice while scrolling through the series is my queue it's extremely switching between videos. but besides that the video seems to load correctly. Some when I press the play button and switch between drama and anime it takes the screen longer to load if it loads at all. I usually have to exit the app and launch it again.

Hit the "star" button on the remote and you can add series that way

It has finally been updated?! Yay!

*downloads update and starts app, goes through the activation process again and sees what it looks like*

.......This is the PlayStation app. At least in terms of UI.

I haven't started any of the episodes yet, but I hope to god it doesn't have the same issues the PS3 and PS4 apps have.....

This UI is rather a pain to navigate via Roku remote, btw. It was easy with the DuelShock controllers, but it just doesn't feel as nice with the Roku remote. :-/

That would make me cry, don't jinx it! I really don't know what I'd do about watching anime without my good old reliable Roku. I can live with this...less than stellar UI as long as it still works well!

Oh you can, you just have to go out of your way to do it now. Unlike the old app where you had access to all of a show's videos right from your queue, now you have to go:

- Press the play button to open the menu.
- Go to the anime section(or just search for the series).
- Find the show you want to watch a different episode of from where it is currently at in your queue.
- Press the OK button to open the videos section.

New version sucks - I wish I could go back. No skip forward/back, you have to manually rewind episodes in order to re-watch.
Cant seem to select episodes from your queue either..
