I....kind of agree. The HD videos isn't worth the trade off of having to use the PlayStation UI......

I mean couldn't you guys have just added the HD videos to the UI of the old Roku app?

Same here this looks like the ps3 app which did allow you to select the queue series and navigate through the episodes I didnt use it because I was mostly happy with roku and after 2-3 eps sound was always out of sync.
Is Crunchyroll settling on a standard interface across all its apps?
If this is the case it will make the roku app less than usefull because what works for computers/consoles regardless of the operating system with decent cpus will not work for graphics boxes which tend not to have powerfull cpus and have powerfull graphics processors

now the queue is less usefull to me but I understand that it may be a compromise forced on the app developer by roku only allowing so many actions in brightscript.I have not tried multiple eps yet to test out sound sync

Okay, the new app looks great, but the whole thing just seems kind of cumbersome. It took me a while to figure out that I had to press "Play" instead of the Right Arrow to get to the Main Menu.

Okay I found out how you have to add videos to your queue with the new app

1. Press the Play/Pause button
2. Navigate to Search and press okay
3. Search for the series you want to add
3. Now you can highlight the series.
4. You'll be able to see you can now press the star button to bring up the Series Information, you'll also be able to add to your queue.

It would have been to nice if the Help file would have mentioned this.

With the Samsung app you can bring the Series information from anywhere in the app. Is the PS app the same way?

Oh and why doesn't the search let you view every show you have?

The que is the thing making me mad the most
Why do I have to search for the anime afain to watch old episodes?
Why not make it like the rest of the series and if you press the * button it comes up with the options of episode list, remove from que, ect.
The que is the reason I hate the android app as well.

I enjoyed the old UI way more than this one
But, most of the things on here I can get use to
However, the que is the one thing that definitely needs fixed

Feels like we went backwards instead of forwards on this update

not at all crazy about the new update my shows will stop playing ...saying I have a connection error I reboot the problem gets even worse .... I have high speed internet what do I do

one thing to add to the above post. the audio will play but the screen it self will say check internet connection. I press OK and it then takes me back to the very beginning of the show ARRRRGGGG

My only 3 real problems are the inability to choose episodes from My Queue, that even once I have finished an episode My Queue does not queue up the next episode, and there is no option to start an episode from the beginning. Other than that and the strange navigation I will get used to it.

This update is a FAIL. Please roll it back to the old app until you fix this one.

The bad UI design removes important functionality from the Queue. I watch CR when I go to bed, so oftentimes I will fall asleep in the middle of an episode. The new design forces me to go through a lot of extra steps to get back to where I was the previous night. I also like to browse through old eps sometimes when deciding what to watch. Now there are extra steps involved.

As should be evidenced by the confusion in this forum, why would you release this update but not provide any info about how to use it in the post? If CR thought it was intuitive, they were wrong. This is why you do user experience testing on a product before rolling it out.

I get what they were trying to do with the my queue list but they needed to add a way to pick an episode from the my queue list

Do i have to exit the app before my queue can update to the newest episode, the new queue list is already pretty bad
