The new Roku app is worse than the old one. Shows still load slow, unless I reset my Roku then it loads fast for the first episode, but then after that back to slow loading for the next episode. The fast forward is temperamental. I tried fast forwarding just a little bit and it fast forwarded all the to the end of the episode. I also had the playback error message pop up still. I had not experienced any problems until the middle of January, now all I have had is problems. The new app only change some visual items and not any of the problems Roku users are experiencing. Sure wish CR would get their crap together and fix this app right. Does anyone have the app on AppleTV? If so, is it any better or is it plagued with problems too?

New build, no better than the old build, all things considered. We're still stuck with the sub-par "universal experience" that was ditched with the very next app released, though scrolling's working marginally better now and doesn't seem to hang then go out of control like the last app did. The app itself loads a little faster, however, it's basically a roulette game finding which episodes will load on a given day and which ones give the "Please check your connection" message. Radio silence continues, CR continues giving their Roku customers the middle finger, and water is still wet.

Has anyone gotten an email back from them about the status of fixing the Roku situation? I've sent several, and all the responses have been the totally irrelevant "try fixing your settings."

They do not care at all anymore. It's very obvious. I've talked to Crunchyroll in the past and would get a person that would be very helpful until my issue was solved. That is not the case these days, I just get a typical pasted response that is not helpful at all and no one ever bothers to respond back if my issue was fixed.

Crunchyrolls customer service was some of the best. Now it seems that they no longer care how awful their service is and just don't bother responding properly to real issues. I suppose Crunchyroll here uses the ideal philosophy that if they just ignore it that it will just go away and it really isn't a issue because they don't actually respond to it at all. It's scummy, wrong and over all really disappointing. If you pay for a subscription, I would leave them as soon as possible. Funimation has much better and cheaper service these days as well as much better customer service.
