Throwing my "Me TOO" in on this. The Roku App is almost unusable. It can be unresponsive and never load for days at a time. Not sure if there is an issue with the app and all the crap that is going on with Cloud Flare (seems to be a total POS service to me) or what the deal is but PLEAS oh Please look into it

I opened a ticket and complained, and they gave me the option to switch to VRV or cancel, told them neither would work as VRV does not support roku, and I did not want to cancel...so they canceled it against my will. Claiming I would be getting a refund, have yet to see it post to my account.

I think that this case is like Samsung app that one day just died. This is inaceptable.
Very sad CR. I REALLY think cancel suscription after 4 years!

Hey, I'm having a problem with the Roku app for Crunchyroll. It doesn't fully load it just sits there almost loaded saying retrieving.

I have heard back from Crunchyroll regarding the issues with the Roku App. Matthew "Yasushi" R the support representative that has informed me of what is going on, has provided me with the below link that explains what hs been going on with the service.

With this said, I still believe we need to hear from an official at Crunchyroll regarding the current state of the problem, and if there is an ETA for when the Roku service will be working again. An announcement I believe would help to reduce the number of tickets to the support staff and permit them to work more efficiently, as well as relieve any concerns the community may have.

I have been having the same issues with the loading bar just sitting there. I watch One Piece faithfully and I'm getting fed up that I can't stream it from my Roku. What's the point of paying for a service I can barely use?

Yesterday I mirrored it from my phone. <_<

Guess I'll actually study Japanese tonight instead.

Takes 10+ minutes for the roku app to even open, only for the shows to time out. We've been watching Netflix and Amazon's crappy anime selection.

Hey folks, just a heads up that the Roku app is extremely slow. I am running the latest generation of the Roku Premiere+ and pretty much just got it for CrunchyRoll.

I have Roku and it seems that it does not like Crunchyroll, it will quit and restart the Roku box like it does when you power it off and on, sometimes it will not open the app at all and at best it will shut off after 20 mins of viewing. All of my regular channels work fine like netflix or hulu. any thoughts? I have rebooted many times and no change and my lap top runs Crunchyroll just fine so I know the internet is working.

My Roku-3 plays everything just fine, including the episodes that my Roku TV doesn't play, such as Titian ep 27 and Kobayashi's Dragon Maid eps 12 and 13.

It takes a long pause to start up the app past the "cigarette butt" progress bar, though, so it's kind of a pain getting in initially.

Have you tried removing the channel from the Roku and in your account here Account Settings --> My Devices

Then adding the channel back onto your Roku?

This works for me if I am really having an issue. Haven't for awhile but I have in the past with the same symptoms you are describing.
