Would it be possible for you crunchyroll to allow users to get a premium trial without entering credit card details? If I had a credit card right now, I'd sign up for the premium service however I don't as of right now so I can't and my parents don't really trust me with their credit card which is understandable seeing as how the internet is a scary place. Of course crunchyroll allowing users to get a premium trial service in the first place is already kind enough however I'd just thought it'd be nicer for it to require credit card details, since getting asked to enter in credit card details for a trial kind of feels like it's saying "We already know you want to pay money for premium so just pay up already." I just think a trial should be just that a trial with no strings attached to it, this idea could possibly make it more attractive for non-premium users to actually want to buy premium..or not. :P

I'm really, really sorry if I sounded like ungrateful and greedy person for saying all of this but this post is/was sort of a spur of the moment kind of thing.
Thank you for reading.

Without that, what would stop a person from just creating a new account every time they wanted a new free trial? Even if CR required a different e-mail address and even physical address each time, that wouldn't be much of a barrier.

If you want a "no strings attached" trial, use the 48 hour guest passes. People will often post the codes for those in the episode comments and they can also be found or requested in the following topic:
