QUOTES "Like these." Are used to speak. Thoughts can be italicized. This can prevent confusion when rping and separate character dialogue/thoughts nicely, in my opinion, this is the best way.
Try and be creative with your replies, no one liners, consistently anyways. It's much more fun to read four sentences than one, right? Gives your rp partner more of an idea what to reply with! BE UNIQUE AND FABULOUS! (My brain doesn't reply well to one-liners...just a warning...)
I'm a writer, so of course I have pet peeves about grammar mistakes, but typos are understandable!
You may have powers. Just don't go overboard on them. YOU ARE NOT SUPERMAN.
You can have an infinite amount of characters. AS LONG AS YOU KEEP TRACK OF THEM.
Final Rule; HAVE FUN!! If you have any questions about any rp tips, please PM me. I don't bite c;
Q: How do I quote someone I'm roleplaying with?
A: Simply click on the 'quote' link on their post. Delete everything they wrote. Then reply. Even if what they replied with isn't there, they still get a notification! That way, you don't have to hide their reply in a spoiler all the time.
Q: Can I RP hop?
A: Yes, as long as you stay in one place at once. Cannot be in two places at once. It will get confusing and it isn't realistic to do that.
Q: How many characters at a time can I RP with?
A: Generally, one seems the simplest for most players. But you're free to rp with groups of characters! If you're having a hard time starting out, ask to join a group in a certain rp zone without just randomly throwing in your character somewhere.
Q: What is the best way to find an RP partner?
A: Post in the respective thread. PM someone who has not roleplayed yet! OR write on the wall, asking to roleplay. Don't be afraid to make friends with your rp partner, develop an understanding of how you want the rp to go. Share secrets, share plot twists you wan't to occur...
