Old people go to retirement homes when they're children won't care for them anymore. Sad.

Although it's hot in the summer, you can still do stuff like exercise outdoors as long as you do it early in the morning or in the evening. At night it cools off quite a bit, so in the mornings it's actually pretty nice even in the middle of summer.

I think it's good to have one season where you have to suffer a little (either due to heat or cold), because it makes you appreciate the other seasons more. The worst is a place like chicago where the weather sucks for 3 out of 4 seasons. Then instead of looking forward to good weather you just start getting desperate and depressed.

Myth.... California has more old people.... Florida, and at least ten other states have higher percentages of old people... (Including North Dakota??? That's just f*cked up.)

I moved to Arizona from California last month. I miss the ocean breeze... here the only breeze is heat.

I been living in the dorms and so far in two days there's been two rattle snakes near the dorms, and one of them was outside of my door ..... . My roommate saw it as she was walking out the door and screamed and shut the door.

Everything in Arizona seems so spread out and not much places to go to. And if you want to go somewhere you'd have to drive out far to the nearest town. But then again I pretty much live out in nowhere..

Despite the negatives I do think its beautiful out here. I love the mountains and the clear blue sky (and by clear I mean hardly any smog).

Sounds like Prescott, it is nice here but the nightlife is really boring for a college student. I think there is really only movies and maybe bowling.

I live in a really small town in AZ and it can get pretty hot here in the Summer, like 118 degrees hot. But it gets decently cold in Winter too. Rarely snows though. Probably once in every three years or so. I happen to prefer the heat over the cold and I'm used to it so it doesn't bother me too much.

Arizona isn't bad. It's just certain parts that get ridiculously hot.
