I was at the store not too long ago and saw a man buying bags of ice cubes. We talked for a while and I told him I still use ice cube trays. He replied with a big laugh and said "That's a thing of the past!"
How do you get your ice cubes? Do you still use ice cube trays, buy the bags, or does your fridge come with an ice cube maker? Or do you not use ice cubes...?

So this dude who regularly buys bags of ice is laughing at you for getting ice cubes for FREE by using an ice cube tray. lol wut a noob

I make at least two trays full every day.... Either I drink tea or water... sometimes pop/soda or any number of adult beverages.

we have a small box of plastic reusable ice cubes in the freezer.. they are plastic cubes with liquid on the inside that freezes.. you stick them in your drink and your drink doesn't get watered down because the liquid is contained in the cube. When you are done with your drink you put them in the sink and they get washed with the dishes and then put back in the freezer to refreeze.

I'm pretty sure most everyone gets their ice by freezing water.

I freeze mine in a tray, and have an icemaker on the freezer side of the refrigerator. If I need to fill multiple coolers, I buy bags. It's a pretty situational thing.

I hope you never licked an ice cube, and gotten your tongue stuck on an ice cube. Getting your tongue off an ice cube is a pain in the ass.

I think we all learned not to lick icy cold things from A Christmas Story, well a lot of us anyway.

My fridge comes with an ice cube maker, I can't survive on trays, since I love ice. Not in just drinks, but also chewing them.

I still feel it's more efficient to poor some water into a tray and make them yourself, than drive out to the shops and buy them. At least from a drinking perspective.
