yeah they come round or block-ish. hell you can even buy big blocks of ice

I still feel it's more efficient to poor some water into a tray and make them yourself, than drive out to the shops and buy them. At least from a drinking perspective.

it depends, if there's a lot of people using ice then it's better to buy since some people don't like to refill the tray (my brother is one) but if you live by yourself than you shouldn't buy ice

I use ice trays mostly. Unless I'm going on a trip and I need ice for a cooler I would buy ice since it would take less trouble than unloading tray after tray into a bucket that might not get fillied after 10 trays are dumped in.

I'd use the one in my fridge, but for some reason they always end up smelling like garlic. So instead i journey over to Greenland and carve some out of their glaciers.

I have small plastic water bottles. And I fill those up with water and toss them in the freezer. Bam, there's my ice chest ice when I need it. Or just use ice trays.

My family lives in an apartment and our fridge doesn't have an ice cube maker so we use trays.
However, in my dorm, I don't have a freezer in my mini fridge so no ice for me (I just use other people's ice cubes if I need some)

I have to use trays because of how much storage is used up in my tiny little freezer. They sell nothin' but those big bags of ice cubes. It's more convenient, too, because it's free. Why do we have to buy ice? Like, what.

Simple.

Step 1: Grab a cup.

Step 2: Fill it up with water.

Step 3: Place the cup of water in the freezer for a while.

Step 4: Once the water frozen, Warm it up with a bit of hot water so it'll be easier to get the ice out.

Step 5: Grab a bowl, and place the ice inside of it. Once you begin to break it, It won't be flying all over the place.

Step 6: Break the ice that's inside of the bowl.

And walla! Free Ice! Not really cubes, but it works. lol.
