Generally, running away is a very bad idea... its estimated that 1/3rd or 1/4th of all runaways are found and pressed by traffickers within the first 48 hours of being on the street.. don't remember what my source is.. but that's my 2 cents

Running is tiresome. Screw exercise.
Although running away from society is fun. Screw society as well.

I didn't, but someone very close to me almost did. She went as far as buying a map, a canteen, knives, some sort of blanket, and other things. She was planning for a while and wanted possibly to die out there alone. I didn't know about it until her one of our friends told me. It was like a rush to convince her not to go but also to not be the last straw in making her break completely. In the end she broke down herself and told someone how she felt, and now everything she bought are just reminders of what could have happened.

I considered it, I totally would too, but I have no idea how I'd make it out there in the world. especially when I don't have no social skills.

Maybe in a few more years, I'll just pretend I was kidnapped ;]

I feel really bad for giggling.

Dark humor is also supposed to be witty. This isn't witty thus not humorous, and the only thing dark here are your hearts.

I never ran away. I always dreamt that I did and even planned on what I'll do. My plan for running away was making money from playing an instrument on the streets (like a violin or guitar) to buy me some food. For shelter I would sleep under a tree away from a city. I would travel light and make everywhere I go my home.

Why run when you can walk?

When all other options have been exhausted, your best bet is most certainly to run away. And then...

Never ran away, walked away, walked straight off campus, and straight to a lunatic who had just been released from prison. I opted to take the ghetto route after that, and it has 100% fewer lunatics, surprisingly enough.

Yes, I ran far away. Because out there. Where they all live unaware.

...What I'd give. What I'd dare.

Just to live. One day. Out there.

Never attempted to run away. I knew from the start that I wouldn't make it far. I was the kid who really didn't argue much or get mad about much anyways.

though it's totally understandable to want to get out of a shitty situation... just make sure you have somewhere/someone to run to.

Agreed.
