Synopsis

The story is focused on Kenichi Shirahama, an average 15-year-old weakling, whose life turns to Hell with the appearance of the naive, beautiful, and strong transfer student, Miu Fūrinji. After Kenichi witnesses Miu's skills in martial arts, he joins the Ryōzanpaku dojo, the gathering place of those who are truly strong, which also happens to be Miu's home. After beating a karate student in a match, he is soon targeted by all the delinquents in the school. Since then, Kenichi's routine is divided between his hellish training with the masters of Ryōzanpaku, and his fights against the members of Ragnarok, a gang who views him as either a possible ally or an impending threat to their plans.

I liked the current chapter, Kenichi sure has grown up. And then there's Shigure still trying to look for her clothes.

kenichi has come a long way, Its pretty cool to see two people with no talent for martial arts now duking it out for supremacy!
It feels like shigure has been naked for more than a year and she still hasn't found clothes
not that I'm complaining of course

I watched the anime and I really enjoyed it.
I tried to read the manga but I realized that I would pretty much have to start all the way at the begging because the anime left alot out.
I look at the latest chapter sometimes and see that theres nudity in it.
That kind of suprised me actually.
Is there alot of nudity in the mange?

one of my favorite series. Started on the anime and went hunting for the manga. It's really amazing how much he has grown, but not just him, all of youngsters have come a long way from their early days.

kind of hoping to see Kisara develop her Neko-fu a bit more though

This one could use a reboot like HxH.. The first anime made it more kid friendly... But the manga is one of my favorites.. like old karate master/disciple movies..

Only the anime was light on fan service the manga has always been that way and slowly gotten more daring. But I question your tastes in martial arts movies and such if your afraid of oppai! Even Bruce Lee movies had oppai..

I don't know why you're surprised that it's ending. After hoarding info this whole time about Saiga they went and just dumped it all on us in like one chapter. I hate that they did it that way because it was SO rushed, but it was a warning sign.

I agree, it really does seem rushed. It also feels like there's much more character development that needs to happen... this just doesn't make sense.

I kinda wanted to see Kenichi become a master and much more...

Too much to add!

It's not surprising these days; Kenichi's been going for twelve years and the Matsuena wants to move on to other things. As much as we fans feel it's not "right" for them to end a long-running series so suddenly, we also can't tell the him how to live his own life and what to do with it. Although we're not collectively saying "Give Kenichi a GOOD ending!", deeply, we collectively want a GOOD ending.

What we got was closure to the story, but not the closure we wanted. Sadly, Kenichi ends in a lackluster way (it's obviously rushed, but can we really blame Matsuena at this point?) and we all need to simply move on. Mishima did the same thing to RAVE (the ending was horribly rushed because he just wanted it to end so he could work on Fairy Tail) and it's obvious Fairy Tail is on the fast-track to a rushed ending as well.

At the very least, I just hope Claymore's ending is GOOD and not adequate.
