No such thing as too much anime

Well, I for one cannot binge watch anime or even television in general for so many hours. Most I've ever done so is perhaps four hours tops (anime). However, I can binge read manga and books in general for sure - spend hours upon hours reading heh.

Clearly you've never seen Boku no Pico's trilogy.

Marathoning/binge-watching is my preferred way of watching anime, I find I almost always enjoy it more that way. I usually do about 4-5 episodes a sitting, 6-8 if I really like it and have nothing else to do. The most I've ever watched in a row was the entire anime "Shiki" (22 episodes long) one night instead of sleeping, and 22 episodes of Shakugan no Shana S1 one day. That said, I usually take a break after especially long sessions... but not for long! ANIME NEVER SLEEPS MOTHERFUCKER.

I commonly watch American cartoons or reality series when I take a break from anime, since it gets a tad too monotonous to overindulge in watching the latter.

There doesn't appear to be any pattern, but my interest will wane and wax. I'll always be watching a little bit here and there, but sometimes I'll suddenly burn through half a dozen shows. Mostly these are 12 episode, single-season dealies though.

Don't think I've ever tried to catch up on a long-runner in a full-on binge. Like Sonic up there I prefer to mix it up a bit. Havin trouble finding some good western animation right now though, might have to do some searching.

I usually just watch a few episodes here and there. If I watch more, I get bored of it, and want to do something else.
