Im sure this has been brought up...but does anyone feel that the episode descriptions are WAY too spoilerish at times? The new Naruto episode(373) spoils A LOT. I'm not sure if anything can be done about this, but it ruins some of the episodes WAY before you even watch them

I agree, sometimes the desc gets into too many details.. though so do the next ep previews at times, same with the comments. That's why I ignore all of those when I absolutely don't want to be spoiled (though I will watch and read when I go back through a series). I know, that isn't a solution, it's just how I deal with the issue.

Pretty sure the ep descriptions are provided by the publisher, not CR, but I could be wrong on that point.

I deal with them in the same fashion, if I don't want a spoiler I just go straight to the video. I don't think anything can be done about something like this, except being aware of the fact the desc and comment contain spoilers and actively avoiding them if you don't want to see the spoilers.

Yea, i understand. But its also different when the episode title itself has a huge spoiler and is in huge font on the front page haha

Yep, this is actually becoming a pain with the comments sections being clogged with upvoted table-flippers feeling incensed that they accidentally saw a major plot point in the ep summary before watching the ep,
rather than relevant comments about the episode itself....

As usual, it is something which could be solved in multiple ways (admittedly not all practical or cheap)
- put the ep summary in a location where it is not immediately visible on page load...
- get reviewers to check the summaries
- deal with it same way as a spoiler - i.e. put spoiler tag on episode summary so it doesn't appear unless you click to unhide it....

- pull off a miracle and get all CR members to learn a lesson and move on, averting their gaze from the evil spoiler-ridden ep summary.

For some shows, I've noticed that they don't actually put any synopsis in at all until it is available for free viewers - sometimes even several days after that point.
So it's there for catalogue shows but you can't be spoiled on new episodes.

I find a personal drawback with this, though, as I tend to need at least a general idea of what's coming up to know if my brain's in the right gear to watch an episode or not.
