I enjoy them, though I don't shop at them often. They're very dependable for specialty items that are hard to come by elsewhere, though I find that Amish and Mennonite markets are humorously second-best for that very reason. There's a Chinese store in Jackson, MS that my family used to patron for about ten years (though I never learned the name). I miss it. I'm hoping to check out at least one of the Indian markets that I've seen around the Altoona area.

Here in Orange County we got, Filipino, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Mexican markets, all in Garden Grove. For Japanese I think Costa Mesa has some, not sure. Also an Indian World Market store somewhere in Bolsa Chica.

I know this is racist but Garden Grove is a terrible place to drive at
Point in case, I've seen more tickets and car crashes there, than anywhere else.

I guess this stuff would seem very usual to someone who has never seen it before. I live in a predominantly Latio neighborhood, a lot of what they sell is very similar to any typically grocery store but with a few different items. Gummy choco is chocolate covered gummy snack. Tastes pretty good, I never had any of them growing up because my parents are really uptight.

There are tons around here. We have lots of Indian/Korean/Chinese ones here. We also have a good stock in the International section in the supermarket.

There's an Asian market near my house. I love shopping there every once in a while. Get my fill of pocky and ramune and other delicious necessities. It's the only ethnic supermarket I know of in my area, though.

We have several different ethnic supermarkets and shops in Amsterdam.
Then again, I do live in a cultural melting pot.

There's a Japanese supermarket on about 20 minutes by foot from where I live, several Chinese/Asian oriented down town, aside from that there are also quite a few Islamic supermarkets and down the road there's even an Israelian and a Polish supermarket.

We have a massive Ranch 99 ( http://www.99ranch.com/) off of I-10 in Houston and it's fantastic. We shop there at least 2 or 3 times a month to pick up various things.
