I apologize if there's already a thread like this. Something about this question definitely seems familiar though on here...
But I checked pretty far into the buried threads to make sure!

Whether they're trying to be rude or not, you get 'em. Whether it's because of some scars, unique birth marks, body modifications, etc.

Are you offended when people ask you questions like these? Or do you think they're just curious? Does it annoy you? Do you think it's inappropriate to ask those questions?

The most frequently asked question I get is "did it hurt?" ...When I fell from heaven? Just kidding. They're usually referring to my facial piercing. I have naturally "rosy" cheeks, as well, so if I'm hot, or if I overwork myself I'm as red as a tomato. Then people inquire as to why I'm so red. As if I have control of it. Pffft.

well i wouldn't call it being asked a question but i am constantly mistaken for a girl when i'm at work. i've got long hair and i put it into a pony tail to fit it into the hairnet. they usualy correct themselves quickly when i turn around or start talking. all i can think though is that i'd make one ugly lady

When I had my beard, I was always mistaken for a much older person. Like early thirties or so. I grayed, at like 19 and a half, and just recently decided to ditch that and I finally look my age.

I've come to terms that once my hair grows gray, which may be soon, I'm shaving it for good, keeping a buzzcut. I don't want gray hair at like 20 something.

A lot of people ask if I wear makeup, and in elementary school they used to say that I looked like an Ancient Egyptian because, around my eyes is darker than the rest of my skin, even though it is natural.

People also used to say that I looked like a girl without my glasses on because, my eyelashes are really long and I have feminine shaped eyes, even though I am a guy. I also have a really big nose that takes up a lot of the space on my face.

I'm always mistaken as a guy because I always wear guy's clothes and shoes. It used to annoys me because you can still see my boobs and I have long hair..

"Do you work here?"

What even begins to draw that conclusion? Is there a specific look associated with working a minimum wage job? There's no uniform... I'm clearly shopping... I don't know. I'm not offended. Just confused. Interested in the response, but not enough to actually verbalize the question to the individual. Sometimes I play along. Why not? "Yes, aisle 8. Would you like me to show you?" I always tell them it's on aisle 8. Everything is on aisle 8. "Oh, and make sure to take advantage of online coupons! I hope you enjoy the rest of your shopping experience. I hate you immensely. Have a great day!"

"What are those on your legs? Scratches?"
I have a lot of stretch marks due to growing and overweight... It doesn't offend me, It just makes me really uncomfortable to the point where I refuse to even talk about it as I am insecure about it.

I also always have reddish, blushy kind of cheeks and everyone always asks if i'm blushing haha
my friend said my face is just flushed

Some people ask if I have red lip stick on my lips, but they are just naturally red like that..I think its fine to ask a question like that, but some people are just really nosy.

"What's wrong?" is one I hear a lot (not so much anymore, though). I have a naturally serious face, and people often think I'm upset or something. No, that's just my natural, expressionless face.
