The initial post is fake, however the whole "Japanese/Asians being obsessed with American/European Culture" is legitimately a thing. It's the equivalent of a weeaboo here and it's called in Japan a Gaijin-hunter or Gaijin-lover but they mean practically the same thing. So in case anyone is wondering, there are crazy and obsessive people around the world! YAY???....

Yeah, that initial post is definitely satire. Still, judging from accounts that I've seen from non-Japanese living in Japan, it's 50/50 in reception to "western" culture and within the 50 that tolerates it there's some 30% that go hardcore into it, buying US Marine/Army/Air Force branded jackets that sell for 20,000 to 30,000 yen and then grabbing clothing, trinkets and other things inspired by or from western culture in very large amounts.

Besides, western culture has essentially permeated much of Japan to begin with, it wouldn't surprise me if this post was somehow real.

Its the "Code of the West".....semi-seriously.....The Grass appears to be Greener, on the other side of the fence. There are advantages and disadvantages to every culture.

BTW: Rant, American is a Nationality not a Race. Its a nation where red blood spilt, with true blue courage, and aspiring to pure white honor......regardless of where our genetics come from. It was an egg lain by England but the eagle inside belongs to us.

1. "Hey, show me how to do Pilates (strikes pose). Don't all white people do Pilates?"
2. "OMG you're SO lucky you're naturally pasty."
3. "Wait. Look at your arms! Why do you have so much hair (rubs hand on stranger's arms)?"
4. "I just loooove white people hair. I think it's so pretty (goes up to random white stranger and strokes hair)"
5. "You know I've been really into Western religions lately. Like, I love how they're so angry and uptight, you know. I decorated my whole house in crosses."

6. "I just love dating white guys because they're so large and overbearing."

7. "Hey, you watch 'How I Met Your Mother?' I'm so into white culture."

8. "Where are you from? No, where are you really from?"
9. "Are your parents super white?"
10. "Look how big my eyes are."

If Asians Said The Stuff White People Say

Asians pretty much already say a couple of those things y'know, especially concerning the fair skin, different colored hair and big eyes. They luruveee their mighty whitey. Okay, not all of them. But the majority.

Anyways...

The OP post is satire, yet you get many (in this case) Japanese who obsess over British, American, German and European culture. You see that reflected in their animes and mangas. Anyway, yes, "weebos" exist all over the world. I hate 'em all. It is one thing to be interested in another culture (which is completely fine) but to take it too far like weebos do? That's utterly ridiculous and disgusting.

What's luruveee?

That and I found Japanese people who are learning English for Hollywood movies. Huh. Never knew that was a thing.

This is just copypasta from 4chan, they sure are a bunch of jokesters over there.

I'd be interested to see if some people form Japan love western cartoons as much as we love Japanese anime.
