I pinched myself in a dream once and I woke up, so I figure it has to work for some people....but I also think it's just one of those sayings that catches on.

I don't believe in that pinch me phrase because I been killed so many times in my own dreams and I remember it hurting.

But honestly, I never really did try pinching myself in a dream.

But to say that I didn't feel pain in a dream would be a lie. So yea, I don't think pain can wake me up from a dream.

Hmmm... I can't seem to hurt myself when I'm dreaming, so for me to not feel pain from pinching myself would likely indicate that I'm asleep... Or that I'm in urgent need of medical attention.

Whenever I think I'm dreaming, I become lawless before I wake up. I'll just let you guys imagine what I do, lol.

But doesn't anyone dream where they know it is a dream and they try to hurt themselves to wake up or try to do something stupid to wake up but you are actually stuck in the dream? That's happened to me before @.@ I tried pinching myself, but I wouldn't wake up from the dream. It felt like a nightmare T__T

Sometimes I have dreams where I know I'm dreaming, and I try so hard to wake myself up that I could feel my actual body (real body) moving around a bit, it weird.

I have not experienced that. That is similar to sleep walking no?

I think that can happen in lucid dreams? Where you can control them? But other than that, my dreams are like watching a movie.

I'm not really sure... I mean, I am moving around in my bed, but not in a 'sleep walking' kind of way. It's more like a struggle kind of movement, you know?

That is quite odd. I mean, many people move in their sleeps. It is quite natural. But XD Struggling outside a dream as a reaction to what is happening within the dream is odd too.

I have had moments where I have woken up from a dream, but my whole entire body would not move. I could feel my heart beating faster, feeling afraid. SCARY MOMENT!
