This may be known, it looks like there's a lot of problems on the app right now, but a lot of the post titles aren't helpful or specific...so if this has come up, apologies.

When I go to watch a show that's in my queue, I go to the proper area (the my queue area) and go to the given series, and can watch the episode I was last on. But...once that episode ends, it goes back to the menu. It doesn't advance the episode in my queue, and I have no way of accessing an episode list from the queue...so Unless I want to watch only the one episode I happen to be on forever, my queue is complete garbage now. Is there something obvious I'm missing? Or has someone found a fix to this? Please help, thanks.

The current workaround is to exit and re-launch the app.

For most people that turns out to be faster than the alternative of browsing to the same show and finding the next episode.

Of all the issues with the new app, this is #1 on my "How did it make it out the door like this?" list.

Yes, counting all of combinations of bugs and of design flaws, this ought to be the most obvious. Simply testing it on trying to marathon three episodes of a catalog title would have revealed it, which demonstrates fairly conclusively that nobody sat down and listed the range of primary usage scenarios.

Indeed, thinking about it, maybe I have been being too kind referring to the collection of User Interfaced blunders as "bad" UI design ... it could be that there was no deliberate effort to engage in UI design at all ... that instead of the UI being designed, it was just a series of, "well, its got to be able to do this, lets do it this way".

At least "they didn't actually design the UI, it is just the result of arbitrary programming decisions made along the way" would explain how they boxed themselves in the corner of having to use the [play] button as a menu.

It depends on what you are trying to do. There are a few shows that I'm trying to catch up on by watching several episodes in a row of the same show, and for that just finding it in the Anime List (which is accessed from the Main Menu with the Play button--just adding that in case Artiekun is still confused about that) and watching those episodes in one sitting is less annoying than exiting and coming back in.
