I hope all of them spend a long time in the pokey, getting ass raped and fed "cockmeat" sandwiches by a guy named Big Bob. Useless trolls with no purpose worth mentioning.

I'm sorry, but maybe someone should threaten to take your life... Maybe THEN you'll learn how the plane crew and passengers felt........

well i have had my life threatened before comes with the territory of where i grew up. now as far as me supporting there bomb threat i never said that. all i am saying is is it right for a government to be able to basically hunt someone down for what they said on the internet. you need to look with a grain of salt. now if they said they have plans blow up a plane witch to play devils advocate to my knowledge they have not. then its the prerogative of the government that they they threaten and or originate to investigate whether they are in anyway serious or not. but the fact is lots of things are said that are not meant to make themselves look like internet tough guys and to use what someone says over social media to condemn them regardless of if they actually did/planned to do anything is idiotic. They way i see it is a stupid joke made by a bunch of idiots that just want to stir the pot and see what happens.

And as far as DDOSing being illegal my personal opinion is that it should not be. all people are doing buy saying ERMAHGURD LETS SEND THEM TO JAIL is just giving them what they want attention. ignore the idiots and the world will be a better place unless you can prove they actually have a plan or intent to do harm. all that DDOSing does anyway is flood a site with traffic, no harm is even done to the server.

Also i might add the bomb threat asshatery is seperate from the DDOSing, if DDOSing is in fact illegal where it happened then they broke the law and should be punished according to those laws. if people like myself think those laws are dumb then we will use a legal pathway to protest or get said law changed. what someone says on the internet and there true intentions are alot more in the grey area.

Yup. Why don't you scream "FIRE" in a crowded movie theater while you are at it. Sorry, dude. ANYTHING involving a bomb threat or anything similar is a threat to other people's freedoms and rights. Therefore, the person who makes those threats forfeit their own rights. This stuff is taken VERY seriously in today's world. It doesn't matter if they are "serious" or not. The fact that they DID SO and have said they support ISIS will automatically make them a threat to US National Security, and they WILL be found. And they will be punished.

So what is essentially corporate sabotage should not be illegal? Something that wastes people's time and money? Do you know how the world works?

I agree that there is a lot of grey area. HOWEVER, there is NO grey area when people make bomb threats made directly like they did. Any protections they formally had should rightfully be revoked till they are arrested.

Going by the title I thought we were going to form a posse and rid the world of "Lizard Lick Towing". Imagine my disappointment when I found out it was about a bunch of script kiddies with access to a bot net and not getting rid of reality TV

It's not worth arguing with someone who doesn't even understand how the people on the plane felt when they got bomb threatened. Plus, this is basically corporate sabotage... And someone who claims otherwise has a few screws loose.

So what your trying to say is that the internet and real life are the same? the fact is that people act and say things differently behind a keyboard then they do in real life. That is exactly why what someone says over the internet can not be taken nearly as serious as what they say in a "crowded movie theater". I never said they will not be found, i never said they will not have to deal with the consequence of there actions. What i am saying though is that you can not simply forfeit a persons rights. My issue is not that i think they are good guys in anyway shape or form. Its that people see reports like this and instantly decide they have to be thrown to the dungeons while saying s**t like they "forfeit their own rights" is idiotic, saying its a "threat to US National Security" does not give anyone the right to ignore the rights of others regardless of what those people have done or have been accused of doing.

I do in fact believe it or not, DDOSing is a double edged sword. While it can be used in the manner to disrupt a business for pure anarchy's sake. It can also be used as a very effective form of protest against that business for whatever political reason. And as i have stated it is my opinion that the good that can come from allowing people to use this tool for legitimate purposes outweighs the potential for its misuse. now in a perfect world the law would be set in such a way that people who use it for protest sake would be exempt from the law but currently that is not so. So yes i think people should be allowed to use DDOSing without the fear of the government breaking down the door and arresting them. And as i said before a DDOS attack leaves no damage to hardware its nothing more than a roadblock.

"Any protections they formally had should rightfully be revoked till they are arrested." If you can not in fact prove that a human being had a realistic intention to do harm then they should under no circumstance have any less rights than anyone else. My point remains the same as it always has, you can not hunt down someone and ignore there rights based solely on what they said. Especially over the internet, the internet where you can say whatever you want and in fact most people do without thinking that they will have it come back to them in real life(and the majority of the time it never does). That is just how the internet is.

And once again i in fact never at any point said i support these asshats. i think they went to far for a joke and caused a lot of people a lot of time and energy dealing with the aftermath. But i am also incredibly skeptical they are anything more than idiots. And they should be treated like what they are Idiots unless you can prove with actually evidence not opinion they are anything other than idiots.

Also i enjoy a good debate if i in anyway have offended you it was not my intent, simply voicing my opinion.

Well, LHRCheshire you could of brought up an example like Justin Carter who is going back to Court of all things this year, remember he was the young man last year who got arrested in Texas for saying a joke on a League of Legends Facebook page that he was going to go to school and kill children of course some lady in Canada was reading it, and got scared, called the cops he was charged for making terrorist threats putting him in jail for months on $500,000 bail, where he was sexually assaulted and beaten because he was label a Child killer. They had no evidence to prove that he was going to kill a child, I believe he Innocent, he going to get 10 to 20 years because of this by the Texas Justice system he was lucky that he got bail by anonymous person but he still has to face court charges.

How about you imagine how it felt to the people on the plane for five seconds, bro? Sorry, dude, there is nothing you can say that will make me sympathize with morons who should not have made an ACTUAL bomb threat to the freaking company itself! It is both reckless and can endanger MANY people. Sorry. Whether it is real or not, you HAVE to take threats like that seriously, cause all it takes is for it to happen ONCE. Freedom of speech only goes so far. The moment your speech ends up infringing on the lives of others, it is no longer free speech. It is a threat. Which is punishable by LAW. :/

You know what also works as a form of protest? Pretty much anything else than corporate sabotage. Nobody is stopping the worms from going in front of Sony's offices and protesting. Disrupting an ENTIRE web infrastructure that supplies MILLIONS of people is nothing more than sabotage. That isn't a protest any more. That is VERY illegal. So, again... Do you know how the world works?

Bomb threats are serious offenses because hundreds of lives are now at risk, dude. Do you understand this? Terrorist threats are taken rather seriously. Cause if even ONE of those threats are real, and you don't take it seriously, hundreds of people are now dead. This wasn't some threat made to random nobodies. They sent this threat DIRECTLY to American Airlines. Should this be something they should just say "oh, you scamps... you got us good. Go home and have some cookies, even though you threatened an airplane with explosives, disrupting a whole bunch of people's lives in the process." Sorry, they should all be punished, and I don't think ANY court of law is going to be forgiving just because they wren't serious.

Right, and they will be such. They will be caught and convicted for Threats of Terrorism, as well as DDoS attacks on corporations. It isn't like I am advocating them to be thrown in Guantanamo Bay or anything.... unless they REALLY support ISIS, which I am sure they wil be grilled relentlessly about the moment they are caught.

But they did for a while.

The only reason as to why they didn't go down is because Lizard Squad focused most of their bot net on Sony. Afterall, they did claim that they would destroy Sony... Witch didn't happen.
