The new roku CR app is a copy of the PS3 PS4 app

But in The Sony they not have our problems like you can check queue episode and info of the anime

Skipping seasons and episodes from queue list

So i guess CR know our problems without giving feedback so roll back the old version or update it ASAP please .

Thing is, they seemed to think that the PS3/PS4 decision (I guess it was originally the Boxee design) was all that and a bag of chips besides ... when a lot of the positive feedback they got from that channel was because it was not as badly broken as the first version they rolled out.

That is:

* the original PS3 app was really crappy, and as they fixed its flaws and upgraded it, they got substantial positive feedback from the positive contrast with the really crappy original app.

* the original Roku channel was just a generic Roku channel, what you expect when you click on a niche streaming service, and as they upgraded it, they didn't get as much positive feedback, even though the end result was a superior user interface when it came to ease of use.

* and in some cases, instead of giving Crunchyroll negative feedback about the PS3/PS4/XBox360 app, what people did was switch to the Roku, so they voted with their feet instead of generating posts in the help forum, and since Crunchyroll ignored the fact that that was happening, it wasn't treated as positive feedback on the Roku version 2.0 channel.

Whether there is any empirical evidence to back this up I don't know, but I'll add some anecdotal fuel to the fire by saying this is exactly what I did. The PS3 app is poorly designed and the original Roku app just plain worked.

Well, as a social scientist ... that is empirical evidence.

I don't have any way of knowing how common it is, so I wouldn't be able to guess if its a very small percentage or a large one ... but I've seen people say that before, and several people before you mentioned doing that ... I'm not very good at remembering names, but since the "prior" device was different in different anecdotes (PS3, PS4, Boxee, Western Digital), I know its not the same person repeating themselves.

And after all, its just human nature. A lot of people don't complain, they just look for an alternative. So when a company removes a degree of choice, they have to be extra careful that they are settling on a design in a user-centered way instead of a supplier-convenience way.

Looking at an OUYA app reviews on Youtube, I don't see why they didn't port that UI if they wanted to do a port, instead of trying to cram an app designed for the Boxee remote control, AFTER it had been ported to the AAA game consoles using more buttons on their controller than the Roku controller has available ...

... the OUYA app has Genres in browse, it has Seasons in browse, both of which were left out of this port of the Boxee app ... and it looks like it would work just fine with [UP] [DOWN] [RIGHT] [LEFT] and [OK] so the [FF]/[RW], [PLAY/PAUSE] etc. would be EXTRA keys. And it displays a bucketload more information about choices available than the Boxee/Playstation app does.
