As long as the price difference isn't too huge I'll go digital, easier to go from different games and don't have to worry about losing disc.

I'm all about the digital. Convenience. Can't be lost/scratched/broken. If house is robbed, games can theoretically be recovered. More eco-friendly, as shipping games all over creates emissions. Less overhead, means more profit for developers, and especially important for small developers, no risk of printing more copies than you can sell. And the consumer side benefit, no risk of the copies being sold out.

As a collector, my personal preference is always a physical version of the game, but that's not to say I'm against digital copies of retail games. I have several digital retail games on both my Wii U and Nintendo 3DS consoles, including Disney INFINITY and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, among others. There are also many games offered as digital downloads only that are well worth owning, like SteamWorld Dig. Sometimes it can be hard deciding which is better though, like with the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.

Yeah that fucking sucks.
I was so disappointed when I unwrapped my vita and the 3 games I bought with it only to find a tiny memory card and nothing else in the cartridge...

#Forevernostalgic I guess lol

I want a physical copy.

I have a clumsy, trigger happy finger.
Give me a pop-up box saying, "Are you sure you want to delete this? confirm or cancel."
I end up deleting it anyway.

Sometimes I double tap a button and I end up confirming something I should not.

Even if I downloaded something, I don't think I could get a duplicate from the main seller if accidents occur in my part.

I do prefer having a physical copy, however, it takes up much space eventually. So for now I'm just buying digital games if it's cheaper. But ofc, special editions and such, I only buy physically.

If its a game I love aka the Assassin Creed series psychical.

I don't mind either way, but I prefer having the disk than taking up hard drive space. Unless you have a USB.

Generally speaking, I prefer physical. I like having a copy of the game I can hold in my hands. But on a practical level, I'm slowing moving myself towards digital. Practical because I just don't have the room to have physical things. Memory size can be supplemented. The size of my room can not.

If it has plenty of replay value and mp as well, I would go digital. If it is a sports or sp title only, probably buy so I could trade in later or resale. Unless, I know I will replay a sp of a game over and over, I might get that in digital format as well.

Physical copies make me feel as if all the well earned money got put to good use. I don't know why it just feels better.

I would prefer to have the psychical copy, however I would be very willing to change that to digital if they dropped the damn price. Seriously, guys, a digital copy should not cost the same as if I went into a store!

My friends and I are old school and prefer physical copies so we can trade and/or sell them.
