1. It's a good idea to be careful with 'absolutes' such as: always, forever, never, etc. Misuse of these can malign a lot of people, from what I've seen.

2. It's good to look at things as objectively as you can sometimes. Emotions are a part of human nature but a surprising number of people fail to realize how much sway emotions have upon human interaction and judgment. For instance, too many people believe drugs are the root of evil because they are illegal. Too many people believe that the killing of a human being is always unjustifiable. There are too many examples to list here.

3. People, in general, need to calm down a bit and have some more patience and agency. A waiter serves your food a few more minutes than you expect (don't yell at him/her and leave without tipping a cent just for that), so what. The price of something you want is a little more expensive than that of a different store you've been to (don't yell at the cashier since he/she doesn't decide the price of the goods), so what. Try to think for other people.

4. Many people need to stop assigning intent. No, your friend might have simply forgotten to invite you on a trip, yet you act like a jerk because you think he/she did it on purpose. No, the guy at the counter doesn't hate you, he doesn't even know you....don't make a fuss and tell him the reason the service is so costly is because he dislikes you. In fact, telling some stranger they just don't like you effectively CAUSES them to not like you. Doesn't take much thinking to figure this out, the thinking just needs to not be centered around you.

I strongly believe in how terrible YouTube comments are. One example from today is while someone was streaming CS:GO on Twitch, someone decided it would be funny to call the SWAT on him. On Twitter and Facebook, everyone's going crazy and hoping he's okay and saying that they hope the person that called the SWAT gets punished. YouTube?

"That's what you get for playing video games and calling it a job LOL"

I try not to read YouTube comments... Sometimes I find good stuff, but I usually don't.
