I do. Sometimes I prefer songs that are 30 seconds to 1:30 seconds long.
Sometimes I listen to a song and I feel like it needs to end in a particular area, but it becomes so lengthy for the hell of it.
It's like they really pushing it to make a song worth $1.99 or 1.69 on iTunes, when it's really $0.99.

The length of the song should not diminish the quality of it.
Unless you're a great storyteller or you stay relevant to your original theme of the song, it's ok.

I don't want to hear you boasting [and rapping] about yourself for five minutes on your debut song.
Everyone does that nowadays. You're not even getting paid well yet and you're already boasting about your imaginary money.

That last paragraph is just you taking it too literally.

Outside of battle rap (Which really is just mindless boasting with rhythm), the "Bragging" isn't about what the artist has, it's for the listener to be able to self-insert.

Also, two minutes isn't a long song.

Rarely... For the most part I like the full versions of the songs. I love songs that are 4+ minutes long!

Even if the lyrics say, "fuck you and you still buying my shit. Fuck you in the face"?

Self-insert or self-denial?
