I'm currently watching the second season of Spice and Wolf. I found myself re-watching particular episodes just to cherish good memories. It makes me depressed that there are only 4 episodes left of this season so I can't bring myself to watch the rest. However, I'll have the light novels I guess. So, your opinions?

On manga, yes. Anime. No. Let it burn.

I have watched and re-watched Spice and wolf many times. It is one of my favs to re-watch. Good folk style / fairy tale type story. You should watch it all to truly enjoy it. But if you don't want the story to end..... I guess I understand.

I do that all the time with books, anime and manga. I have about three or four sets of manga that are all missing the last one or two books just because I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Nothing worse than that melancholy feeling that the 'journey' is over, especially with good books

Just continue the journey in the Spice and Wolf Light Novel. If I remember correctly the anime only covers the first three volumes, but there are I think 12 volumes now and it's still on going.

If I truly love an anime or manga, I will of course want to finish it.

Because I love it, and want to see how it ends.

Sometimes this backfires though. I enjoyed reading Ranma 1/2; got to the final chapter and found out I had wasted my time - the ending FUCKING SUCKS! And I truly wish I had not watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Rebellion. Fuck that movie and may it die.

Yes, all the time, which is why I'm currently rushing to finish Gosick before it disappears.

I find that the ending for many TV shows, Anime, and Movies are always something that the fans might not like and there for I would rather read the Manga or the Novel then the show if it's about to end.

I always try to draw out the series I love. Only 1 chapter/episode per night, alternating between different series and so on.
But I could never deprive myself of an ending! For me, the ending makes or breaks the series.
