I really liked madoka magica that I stoped in episode 9 and rewatched it. I watched the whole thing and that ending was disappointing

For you, it's ruined. Two tears in a bucket. Buck up sissy pants.

The author just left it open ended. She mentioned that at the very end. How much freedom of control do you think a mangaka has? Probably less than you think.

So, because I posted a comment saying how I personally felt about the ending (that did not agree with you) I must "buck it up sissy pants".

Huh. So everyone who doesn't agree with you gets insulted and are therefore a sissy?

Right. Glad we cleared things up.

C'mon. That's just a harmless phrase from Beverly Hofstadter to her son, Leonard Hofstadter, that I used. If it makes you happy, I even forgot to use a comma.

Yes! I've done that with a few... I'd leave the last episode for a couple of weeks until I'd watch it xD

no instead I re-watch it and even buy the collection when it comes out. yes I dished out the $100 for the Evangelion Platinum Collection and bought the movies (funimation really needs to release 3.0), bought death & rebirth and The end of Evangelion, and I even went to go see 3.0 in theaters. if you can't tell, I nerd hard over Evangelion (currently working on collecting the manga)

If I really like an anime, I often put off watching the last episode or two for a week or two. Partly because I don't want to end, and partly because I'm afraid the ending is going to suck. In some instances, if I feel I'll hate the ending enough, I simply stop watching altogether. Most recently was Canvas 2. (Don't think I ever saw Canvas 1) Anyways, this series was fairly enjoyable, but once it seemed fairly certain that I wouldn't get the coveted siscon ending, I was like "screw this!", deleted it from my queue, and never looked back.

So... I did manage to finish the last four episodes. Safe to say, I feel glad that it's off my chest now. I'll go buy the blu ray disc and watch it in it's glorious quality and cry some more

SEASON 3 PL0X.

Nope. If I try to do that the show constantly calls me to me like an animated ghost. "Otaku, finish me, you know you want to..."

Nope, but I can kind of understand how that feels. Nobody wants to be left with a void in their hearts. XD You could always go back and rewatch it, though.

Haha, I'll have to take that into consideration. Now it looks like there's a ton of anime coming back to haunt me...

Good question. I sometimes feel a little disappointed when an anime or manga is about to end, but I will still finish them. The worst is when the ending is radically different (or worse) than I was expecting, but the upside is that I can go back and re-read or re-watch to gain a different (and hopefully richer) perspective.

Uh. This is a bit weird to me. I LOVE IT when a series I love ends. It is what everything is built up to and kept me going to see HOW it ends. I also don't drag it out. I want to get there as quickly as possible if I really love a series. I just need to k now what happens. XD

Of course, if the ending sucks, then it is a disappointment, but overall, the ending gives me joy. Just because the series is over doesn't mean too much. It just makes me excited for the next thing.
