If I had a Video Camera, maybe I'd be game. I mean, "Why not?" It's just cold water, after all. I've gone swimming at My local YMCA when I was Younger really late in the Fall before, and I was able to tough it Out through that, so....

And just for the record, Kentucky Winters can be MEAN. That early Fall I remember that Year, it had already dropped down to like 45 degrees as the High Temperature for the Day. Brrrrrrrrrr. But, then again, I could live somewhere A LOT colder, like up North during the Winter. So, I'll take what I have to deal with here in Kentucky.

I WOULD like to spend a Winter out in California, or down in the Bahamas during one Winter! Just for the record!

Gotta see the fail videos. It's not awareness. Just being in the bandwagon.

^

It is raising awareness on the sickness, and it generated lots and lots of money for the ALS foundation, but it totally became a big ol' popular bandwagon to jump on at the same time, too.

Never heard of it.
Why couldn't it have been a female doing the cold wet t-shirt awareness thing?

Maybe next up will be the "bukkake challenge" from the Japanese. It'll go viral and raise money and awareness for prostate cancer.

The "pouring of the ice cold water" (did that on purpose) is just to grab people's attention-- plus it's funny to see how people react to the water and how they do it in their own creative way. I don't mind it if they actually donate money after doing it. That's like saying someone shouldn't eat mushrooms just because you think it's stupid. I just don't like those people who do it because they don't feel obligated to donate if they do it within 24 hours, so they're basically doing it to get attention and praise for doing something otherwise that was a waste of time. I haven't done it and I'm not going to do it.

But one day, when I'm done with college and hopefully I'll earn more money than I know what to do with, I'll spend some of that towards donations. I do care about people and I hope they find a cure soon for these deadly medical issues. But it's amazing that there's so many yet we're so advanced in medicine. Honestly, I feel like there's a lot of corruption... medical companies are businesses too. They thrive when people are sick. So who knows if there's really a cure or not? Maybe there is, but the government doesn't allow it. And before I get bashed, go watch Dallas Buyers Club and see what I mean. Sometimes stuff that's considered "bad" and "illegal" is actually good for you to some extent. Which is why I'm out of the U.S. as soon as I'm done with school, because I don't get the logic of these laws most of the time. But then again, I'm European. Kind of got off topic, but hope you get my point lol
