It seems the world is getting more messed up. It has become a daily habit to watch and read the news everyday.

I've come to the point in life where I avoid news like the plague, and don't involve myself or even want to know about current world events at all. I really do not care l, and have no desire to start caring. I'm pretty much in my own lane and couldn't care less about it. Selfish, yeah but it's just a much better way to live.

I don't wanna hear people on their podiums talk about how the world is so terrible now. I don't wanna hear this story about this person or that person about that person. This politician did this, that politician did that. I don't care. There's always been fighting in the Middle East, always been disease, always been war, always been violence, always been hatred, always been bad, always always always always. rI don't want to hear about it anymore because I do not care! At all.

Political people are annoying as hell, conspiracy theorists are the worst, and faux-world savers are horrific. Controversial? Not really.

Thank God for anime and music to drone out the sounds of a world I don't wanna hear anymore.

ISIS is pretty scary though, to be recruiting people from other countries -- even free countries like America and the UK -- for their very un-freedom-like cause just boggles my mind ... freaky

I just remembered. I need to go pick up milk from the grocery store, but none of that whole milk, I need that milk for lactose intolerant people. That statement attests to how much concern I am allocating to the ISIS threat, nonexistent or so insignificant that I consider procuring milk a higher priority. Those kiddy diddlers want to build an Islamic caliphate without even the slightest direction on governance and finance (they may find some experts), legitimate international recognition as a state, and questionable logistics (aside from captured stores and arsenals)? It would just become pre-2000 Afghanistan, replete with infighting, warlords, roving bands of undisciplined rabble armed with machine guns, and a lack of infrastructure. Anyone who sympathizes with ISIS is wholly deserving of whatever treatments short of death befalls them.

yeah, ISIS....some call them heros, others call them terrorist. not my problem.

untill a real war starts, where women go back to factories, men go to war, and i cant buy gasoline or rubber, i dont care all that much. there are people better equipped to care and do something. life is sad. people die.

and unless it comes from some one other than cnn, or fox, or any major new company, i take it with a grain of salt.

im sure its problem, but its half a world away. its a war about oil anyhow, Eisenhower Doctrine, IIRC.

Oh, ISIS is actually a thing, I only think of the ISIS Agency from that show Archer, that one sounds way better than the one you're talking about.

UPDATE: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-28990428

"Russian President Vladimir Putin has blamed Ukraine for the crisis, comparing its siege of the rebel-held cities of Donetsk and Luhansk to the siege of Leningrad by Nazi Germany in World War Two."

Also: "Earlier on Friday, Nato held an emergency meeting after releasing satellite images it said showed columns of Russian armed forces inside Ukrainian territory."

And: "Mr Rasmussen also indicated Nato could consider Ukraine's application to join the alliance, shortly after Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced he was putting Ukraine on course for Nato membership."
