I'm a moron and didn't notice the site it came form. I apologize and this can be deleted or locked.

Too harsh a punishment in my opinion, especially considering a convicted rapist spends far less time in prison on average.

I agree that 25 years is a bit much but it was because of the charge. That's the minimium from what I understand. It is his own fault though.

Naughty naughty you'll get caughty.

But yeah. You think this is bad? Check out the brutal Russian Prison System. You go to jail for years for stealing a sack of potatoes.

Hopefully that stops this dumb "swatting" epidemic.

If it even exists. The media loves to blow stuff out of proportion so I am skeptical.

Ah, no wonder "swatting" sounded like some made up fad.

Well, i'm pretty sure it is real. I think it was this week that the creatures were victim to the "swatting" which some actually got arrested. I haven't looked into since then though.

Break the law, face the law. Simple as that. No pity. Sorry. The law is made for a reason, and I think anyone who breaks it should expect to have the hammer dropped on them.

That's too long if you ask me, but then again he was wasting tax payers money, the police's time, the streamer's time, invoked panic at a nearby school, caused the entire building the streamer was in to be evacuated, and had said streamer pinned down by the neck with SWAT believing he had a gun. Somebody could get seriously hurt from this sort of thing if it goes on. All in all though the swatter definitely deserves to be convicted. Like the cop being interviewed said (this isn't word for word) 'This isn't a game, this is real people with real guns' and I am not for innocent guys being interrogated just so some spaz on the internet can think 'Lulz, s0 funn3h'. You'd have to be a pretty sick person to get your kicks from seeing an innocent person being treated like a criminal.
