Ok, there are already a few polls about whether or not you like the new Roku app, but how strongly do you feel about it? Strong enough to put your money where your mouth is and vote with your wallet?

I voted will not cancel over this. 90% of the reason I bought a Roku was so I could watch Crunchyroll on the old TV in my bedroom but I would not cancel my subscription over it. I subscribe to Crunchyroll for the anime I want to legally watch and the selection they have that I cannot get elsewhere.

If I did not love the anime Crunchyroll streams and I were having this problem, I would cancel in a second (I already did with Funi when their app didn't work for me and they couldn't help me through customer support). I prefer to watch anime through the Roku, plain and simple, but I can watch on my phone, tablet or laptop so I have other options. I am not going to cut off my main anime source because I can't watch it the way I want to (and on the Roku, I literally cannot watch it at all right now! So yeah, I'm PO'd about it).

I have signed up for CR years before I got a Roku, and supporting an industry is important to me. Granted, prior to this edit I was watching CR about 50/50 on my laptop and my Roku. Now I feel significantly more inclined to watch it on my laptop instead.

I canceled my renewal. Not gonna pay for this garbage and especially for the worse customer support and PR I've ever encountered in my whole life. I'm so through with
CR. I've made a commitment to myself to bad mouth CR at every occasion I have and I will take pride in every person I can persuade to not subscribe to CR. I will post this fiasco all over my social media and more to spread out the words as much as I can. I will go to anime convention and stand before CR booth and warn people who would be interested in signing up. Anything I can think up to screw this conpany I will do.

Since the PS3 app is actually stable now I've simply moved to that. Interestingly enough the resolution and color saturation look better running off the ps3 vs my Roku 3. Maybe I'm imagining it or maybe I'm not (and yes it's all the same picture settings). The ps3 is even a little better by enabling HDMI control from my smart TV so I can use my TV remote for basic functions. Can't emulate the square button but then neither can the Roku. Queue works nice on the ps3: instant updates, higher res screenshots than the Roku, and even what I guess you could call watermark series cover art.

Now running something around 100 watts vs the Roku's few watts...wonder how the power bill will fare.

The only device I use to watch CR is my Roku, so it doesn't matter how good their streams are, since I can't watch the shows.

What was wrong witht the old interface?!? It was just fine. Now, I get to watch 10x the advertisements. Press the wrong button and I'm stuck in commercial hell!! The new ROKU interface absolutely BLOWS!!! Now I have to scroll through the WHOLE line-up to find something b/c genres were removed. The old interface was just fine. I liked it to the point that I wanted to subscribe. So much for that. Now I'm glad to pass this over. The new interface is totally frustrating.

The roku app is garbage, but there are other systems I can watch CR and I enjoy supporting the site! So I will not cancel over this!
