Both seasons of Fate/Zero were over-hyped and average at best.

I agree with Eureka Seven AO. It's like BONES purposely destroyed that series by making it into a semi- high school harem show with mechs.
It makes the original E7 look bad which sucks because it's honestly my favorite show.
I just don't have that much confidence in BONES anymore...

Rosario + Vampire was so much more than a letdown.

What made it a letdown for you?

The anime is an ecchi harem romcom.
The source material is a relatively dark shonen manga with harem elements.

To be fair, the manga started out as an innocent romcom, but the genre shift happened years before it got an anime adaptation.

I really mean, the manga had a genre shift early in its run (~2006), it didn't get an anime until 2008.
It's a bad generic fanservice series that wouldn't be getting any mention if it wasn't for its poor way of handling source material.

I love it when I see generic tossed around as a insult.

"So why didn't you like the show?"

"It was generic.", In other words, because it was representative of it's genre.

So you knew you wouldn't like the show before you watched it and you watched it anyways. Now your going to say the problem with the show was the type of show it was in general. I love hipsters.

Akame ga Kill. It wants to be bad ass because you know violence and darkness, but actually is a really bland. Characters are pretty much one dimensional, the tone is off, deaths hardly have an impact cause we hardly know them and other characters are hardly affected by it. Also all this comedy and lightness in between, which is weird with the dark tone. And ofc the whole these people are really evil, cause they are evil thing.

Galilei Donna - went nowhere.

Main one that bugs me. Outset looked good, sounded like some sort of global treasure hunt, nice setting (during an encroaching Ice-age, not before or after so it shows how humanity adapts, is a unique time frame), pretty strong first episode (loved the animation as the cop hunted for the youngest in the factory).

Then it just peters out to crap. And the time-jump and the last episode were dire .
