Are there a lot of options if you're plus size?

I don't cosplay but I was going to try dressing up like for character for the con I'm going to this year. Even though the character wears clothes I can find in stores to put together, when looking at what's available and their sizes, I didn't see a lot for those of bigger size especially depending on what the outfit is. So I just wanted to know how much options do you have when the size you are isn't available.

There are always options. You could adjust them yourself (If you are good at that) or have one made to your size. Never let anyone put you off, it's about having fun! I am not thin myself, and I am going as (female) Haru from Free! I had the shorts made for me and found a Haru shirt on facebook, so all I need now is the wig. Ebay is great for this sort of thing, Good luck!
