It depends on the news I'm looking for, honestly.

If it's local news? I do Maryland Reporter, Red Maryland, Dundalk Eagle, and my local Patch website.

If it's national/international news? I check on political blogs, Fox News, the Associated Press, and CNN

Geekologie, Memebase, and Crunchyoll. Only places where I deemed the news I received to be worthwhile. I'm apathetic towards the worlds state of affairs or to what's going on in my general vicinity.

I enjoy BBC and local news.
I look at Fox News and Kotaku to enjoy watching themselves constantly screw up and spew obvious BS.

I get my news from a variety of sources. If I hear the story from a source that has a political bias (all of them) I will check for that same story from a source that leans in the opposite way to try and get a balanced view of the situation. For example if I hear about something from FOX news first knowing that they have a very conservative point of view I will try to look up the same story from a very liberally biased site to try and look at it from the opposite side, and vise versa. I don't think /pol/ should be your only source, but as they take their information from lots of different places it is not the worst place to find news stories.

They're not the most... reliable of sources. Somewhat lazy, but who isn't, right? Anyways, I see more "news" articles about Kim Kardashian's ass or Justin Bieber's flings with hookers and other celebrities who should know better than to hang out with him (etc.) than I do... well... actual news. The articles, of which, barely have anything in them. Whether they be about Kim Kardashian's ass, Justin Bieber's flings, or the situation going on in Russia.

At least, that's what I see the majority of the time, though I'm probably not looking hard enough. Usually, I just scroll right down to the comments. I guess I just don't care enough, either, to change from Yahoo! to something else. Laziness, you see.
