Second you can't really say that about him considering no other president has had to deal with the magnitude or amount of challenges he is.

Abe Lincoln had to deal with the civil war , that is of a much greater magnitude than what Bush has had to deal with.

The Civil War was against a clearly identifiable enemy, the confederacy. A war against terrorist is against an enemy with absolutely no borders. Lincoln also knew when the war was over, when they surrounded and were brought back into the union. We have no idea when the war on terror will ever end....That in itself makes it even worse.

You keep telling yourself that .

Well I believe the American government's error was trying to declare war on an ideal, as opposed to a people's.

But those who critise George Bush would as likely critise Bill Clinton. Uninformed opinions are so much fun to shoot down.

*yawn waking up* well well. Nothing like people snapping at the idea of a political power. But ofcourse the first thing that comes to mind is Bush. Well well lets see for all you who say he sucks should be him for a day. Dont try the arrogant remarks "I can do it easy". Unless you feel like getting censored by congress and shit loads of paper per day. Regardless hes not the best but more of the equivalent to Richard Nixons appeal.

None the less Bush declared war for an indirect attack to Alquieda (may not be spelled correctly). This wasent to stop Osama bin Laden but clean up the mess of operation desert storm. Considering that congress had ample time to refuse him was bad on their part. Perhaps he made them assume it was to get revenge on 9/11. But that is only another assumption. So before you go bantering about ones job as president live a day in their shoes.

If you consider speech impediment a weakness then your just as arrogant as you were before you made the statement.

^Yea it is but people only focus on Bush cause they have nothing better to do. Blair really should become a citizen of the U.S. so he can run as president. Some how I can see the ignorant people will assume he says "jolly o". Obviously because alot of americans misconception of england is remarks like that.
None the less Gordon brown doesnt seem to show enough promise. But thats just an insignificant opinion. He "MAY" show me some promise.

Its not like hes some random rookie chosen to do the job. Hes pretty much been waiting for the position for a decade.

Probably the biggest change between brown and blair will be with foreign policy, at least until the presidential elections, the UK wont be as eager to support US policies.
