I'm never an overachiever.
I just barely reach expectations hahaha.

I find life is much easier when you keep everyone's expectations low.

I'm an overachiever and it is really stressfull. Even when I do good I beat myself up about it like when I got all A's but still had one B I cried about it for days. And when I got a 94 in one of my classes I was so upset. I don't know why I get freaked out about it but I feel that studying and getting good grades is my only talent.

Take tranquilizers or get a nice, understanding boyfriend.

You reach a point when you realize you're such an idiot, and all those awards, honors, and grades don't mean a thing. You become really anxious and are unable to deal with the stress. Then, you just hope to pass the class... That's me right now BTW. I'm a Junior right now, and feel like don't know anything at all. I feel very unprepared and my brain is constantly frazzled.

I was bottom of the class in high school, due to my lethargy and extreme unwillingness to study.
In college, I'm still laid back, but I'm overachieving all of a sudden, not sure why

Well...I heard that in college. If your professor told you to write a 1500 word essay, but instead you write a 2,000 word essay to get extra points. That extra 500 words will bring down your grade. Well...not unless he/she specifically said that if you wrote an extra 500 words, you'll get extra points.

I suppose I am an overachiever. But then again, sometimes I feel like I have to work extra hard just to catch up to everyone else. However, other people see me as a girl who likes to get good grades and gets them. Who doesn't like to get good grades anyway?
