What is the hardest you've ever worked for something?
Posted 9/5/14
I am self admittedly an overdriven person. I can't stop. I just want to do, do, do things, usually leaving me exhausted or burned out.

I've worked hard for things. I worked hard to get into college, and I'm really working hard for my major. I have tunnel vision when it comes to what I have to do and how to do it. I have a goal and I have to do it or else I've failed myself...

So what have you worked hard for?

I'm working my arse off in order to leave this country and finish my degree(s) at a university I really like. (Almost there~ Wooo!)
It's definitely all for myself and I refuse to fail.

Sadly, I occasionally push my friends aside for the sake of money in my pockets, so I feel a bit disconnected from them, but they understand.

I expect to cry out of happiness when I move next year.

I got out of bed and ate a bagel this morning

Can you believe some people walk down stairs EVERY MORNING? Insanity.

I work extremely hard everyday at my job every day to fund my game, anime, MLP addictions.

just working a really mundane job to support my artistic venturing [in the future]. I would consider that "hard-working" because i'm willing to sacrifice my time+energy to do something really boring for the sake of my ultimate passion... which is art.

i'm doing it the long way because I know my talent is not exceptional. but I don't want to paint out of fear of not being able to pay the bills. want to paint fully based on inspiration and "if I feel like it".

1 jar of oil paint costs $50 and a medium sized good canvas costs $60. it is an expensive hobby... but oil paint is my favourite... it makes my painting come "to life". I also love watercolour.

How in the hell are you not dead? I'm a biochem major and even with labs, I try to keep it between 19 and 24 class hours (15-18 credit hours a week).

I went from zero time to a Flight Instructor in two years while working a full time job at the same time. It was like working two jobs and having one pay for the other.

I was in the Navy for 7 years, so I'd have to say just an average day on the flight deck. 130°F fully covered with gloves/helmet lugging around a tool pouch, having to run the length of a football field, 8 hours working on the flight deck with barely a piss break and 15 minutes to go eat (if you're unlucky, not even time to eat). Or, the same thing in freezing temperatures getting rained on in pitch black and 50 knots of wind and oil all on your pants because I'm servicing the piping hot engine with oil and sometimes have to grab searing hot caps with my bare hands. Carrying 110 lbs. of tiedown chains until my particular jet flies off (average 15 minute wait).

Sounds bad? Nope. Best time of my life.
