First thought: go, platinum games, grab it and make a game!
Don't know why but the first action scene gave a pg vibe,
Which is not bad at all

EP 1 first thought Terminator or even Battlestar Galtica! So I am interested.

Karen is one wild hero! Poor Girl just wants a decent meal. Btw the Campbell's Soup Poster.

Sad want happened to her sister!

BTW the scrap guy is just like going to one pays the least but makes a fortune! Oh call girl Robot! Oh yea I dont trust Jack!

There is more to this anime than first glance the sarcasm, the I got to know the back story!

But Eleanor is coming XD This Ep was just a warmup!

I thought the animation was cool being a RWBY fan. And whether anybody likes this style or not you will be seeing more!

Sisters

Eleanor

Seek and Karen are still friends?

Just finished the first episode, and I must say that the show is downright terrible. The problem? The writing is bad. The action scenes are randomly occurring, and end predictably. The protagonist is cookie-cutter and cliche. And the plot literally has no explanation laid down for it in the first episode. I quite simply didn't know what the hell was even going on. Instead of explaining some of the world or the story, the creators felt it necessary to spend 2 minutes or so in a 10 minute episode focused upon a dude consorting with a robot prostitute, probably the cheapest and most niche fan service one could possibly imagine.

These problems alone don't ruin a show, but combined together, as the creators did here, pretty much makes this a big flop.

The 3dCustomGirl models are really distracting to me, how quickly are you'all getting used to that part?

I got used to the CG pretty quick and quite enjoyed the fight scenes. Some of it did feel a little random and not flowing but it's not the worst I have seen. In terms of story I am a little confused but it's only been one episode.

It's certainly different lol

Gonna place my wager now, that this is gonna be like an old Steve McQueen movie where the real star is the action scenes, and the story (whatever there is) is just a thin smear of glue to try to connect those action scenes together. I loved the scene where the robot was laying waste to the living room, and at 10 minutes an episode, I could care less about robot sex and want more bullet hell.

Ep 2

The chase scene had to have been inspired (or copy and pasted lol) from FF7 Advent Children's bike scenes.

I'm still liking this show more than I should.

Also thank you robot spy cams!

CG, cell animation, whatever the hell it is, don't care, fan service is fan service.

Episode 2

Gonna stick with this. Some of the story is slowly coming out but did get a bit confused. Seems like the leader of the resistance (11) has some kinda deal with the machines, and is trying to recruit Karen. Even odds in either direction: she'll decline joining and become an enemy of both; or she joins only to inadvertently discover the ulterior motive.

Getting a bit of a Blade Runner vibe here.

This show is frustrating. There's an interesting story buried under all that fan service and mediocre fight scenes. I just don't know if it's worth sticking around to see if anything comes of it.

Its kind of funny; I find this show frustrating as well, but for pretty much the exact opposite reason. I generally find the fight scenes and even (to a degree) the fan service to be enjoyable, but the story strikes me as pretty derivative and fairly cliche.

At the same time, it is a 10 minute show, so if 6 minutes of it is action I generally enjoy, I can't really complain that much. And...while this might not be a popular opinion, I actually like the CG animation.

The story intrigues me so far... but it has an unfinished feel to it, perhaps because of the short timeframe of each episode. It definitely feels like the fight scenes are gonna get the lion's share of effort from the studio... but if they're as entertaining as they have been so far, I won't really mind -- tho I would, of course, prefer a strong story ^_^

And the CGI... heck, I honestly don't even notice it. I've prolly just played so many MMOs and video games over the years that a CGI toon looks perfectly normal to me =P Tho that bike of hers was super sweeeeeeeet! =D
