The fight scenes just aren't doing it for me. I don't know if RWBY spoiled me or if it's the fact that it doesn't look like she's dodging the bullets and the slow mo makes it look worse.

I really just cant get into the animation. I dunno if its my general hatred for CG like this or this particular art style. Granted i have liked some All CGI anime in the past so im thinking its this show in particular.

The CGI is very video game like and so is much of the show but... for some reason the terminator without the terminators setting is actually kind of interesting. I'm still watching for now.

I wish the CG was better especially that OP bike segment in EP 2. It was great action!

But EP 2 had some nice revelations and Karen is like Aoi from Rail Wars great looking with skills and much more !

This is where I go against the grain . This a good anime interesting ensemble / all kinds of intrigue/ machines vs humans BTW the machines want to become human pretty creepy/ lots of sarcasm/ and lets face it survival! Oh just great action PLEASE clean up the CG you would have a hit on your hands!

The Machine Ruler His thoughts are crazy

That room had older electronics like VHS players / reel to reel tape decks interesting why?

Great bike / I liked how Karen salvaged parts from the machines she destroyed to fix it!Just so cool

Karen wow !XD

well i just watched the 2 episodes and read the interview of the director .

before i read that article I did feel as if I was watching the video game movie version where in gamers compile the story mode when they reach certain points of the game and I watch those in youtube and they are very entertaining since I can never finish the game to enjoy them lol

and because of that , I actually dont have a problem watching the CG style although its not as clean as in the video game , well the VG do have time to clean up their work ...this one doesnt, which is what is annoying the most

Also I dont recognize any of the voices except for Nomura

However this one is not interesting to me ...so I might just wait

Ep 3

The western theme was nice. The cloning plot for that girl was pretty interesting. Karen having Touka's "spirit?" inside her was unexpected. I thought every time she saw her in the previous episode was just her memories or Karen going crazy but apparently she's actually there. I like it so far. The show is still pretty good.

The bottle of Jack was sort of hilarious how they spelled 'Tennessee'.

And...this show is still a mess. It would make good cut scenes for a video game, but they're sort of lacking in the connections between scenes.

And someone needs to do their research. A place run by machines isn't going to have a water sprinkler fire supression system. It's most likely going to have something based on CO or another gas so that you can put the fire out and don't have to worry about messing up the electronics. It's what they use for really expensive computer rooms (super computers, etc) in real life.

Screw that, I'm loving this. Shit gets real. I dunno who she is, but her ability is pretty handy.

And after this episode, I think the theme song should be I Wanna Know What Love Is

Unless the electronics are waterproof. Which would make sense. How do you plan to take over a planet that is 3/4 water if you're vulnerable to water? (Ever see Signs?) And since they obviously wanted to keep her alive to "interview" dumping CO or halon or some other gas would have killed her.

I do understand the sense that the story is disjointed but with each episode I feel there are pieces to the puzzle dropped in place. It's just that as they're solving part of the puzzle they open up new sections at the same time. Personally I'm enjoying the show enough to stick with it and see where it leads. And even if the plot falls flat the CG animation is quite amazing. A huge step above RWBY and a smaller step over Blue Steel. As CG keeps improving I expect we'll see more anime made this way, for good or ill.

Well, it's definitely better than RWBY.
